Atomic Coffee Bar — Restaurant in Pleasant Valley Township

This particular Atomic Coffee Bar has always been right off of my normal drive to work. On a recent deviation from one of these drives in the morning I opted to stop by to get a hot tea.

The building is definitely unassuming, but still sharp and clean in overall appearance. It is a drive thru that is set up such that patrons can approach and leave the building from two different lanes in opposite directions. I'd never seen something like this before - it looks like it works really well.

After some discussion with the barista, I settled on. Green tea flavored with peach and ginger. I asked for honey in my water, but I don't think I'd get any sort of sweetener next time with this particular tea. I'm fairly certain there were dried chunks of peach in the bag which, combined with the honey, made the whole beverage a bit too sweet. This certainly wasn't Atomic Coffee Bar's fault, just something I'd note for any future tea drinkers of fruit flavors.

I can definitely see stopping here again in the future for a tea, either on the way to work or out of town. Thanks for the great tea,...

Waited in line for 40 minutes to get to the window and have them tell me the car in front of us was the last car to get served. They closed at 2pm for Christmas Eve (which I understand)….it’s the fact that they could have come out and let myself and the 5-6 other cars behind me that we would not be served. Instead they let us all sit in line for the duration. My family visting from out of town wanted to try the coffee as it’s been all I’ve been talking about since they arrived. Now they didn’t get to try it. They never will….and ill be hard pressed to come back again myself. As someone who visits atomic 3-4 times a week on both sides of the river this was such a major turn off. Looks like I’ll hafta find another coffee place to visit. I hope the others who waited with me follow suit and leave the same...

UPDATE: What is happening in this branch? Are the servers being trained here? The kids are playing too loud music they can’t even hear what we are ordering properly. Mango drink now is different as well.

LAST REVIEW: We’ve been going here from time to time and so far this is one of the best place to get coffee in the Quad Cities for me. I don’t even mind the long lines. I couldn’t take photos of the other drinks we bought since we finished it right away, but we loved everything that we bought here so far. Even the mango drink tastes so...
