Stopped in to enjoy lunch at the Bettendorf location with a special elderly friend. I ordered the Harvest Cobb salad and an iced mocha, she ordered the chicken salad sandwich with a side of fruit and a lemonade. She insisted on buying for me. I grabbed a booth for the two of us. Soon two servers arrived carrying our entrees. I noticed a fork offered for my salad but no knife. So I walked to the counter and asked for a knife. The gal kindly gave me two. I brought one back for my friend. And then noticed she was not given a fork to eat her fruit. How strange! So again, I walked up to the counter to get another utensil. I was given two forks. I sat back down. We still did not have our drinks. My friend went up to get them and was greeted by the gal who was bringing them back to our table. As they were delivered, I noticed mine was a hot mocha and not an iced mocha, as I ordered. The gal looked confused and I said, âRemember I specifically ordered an iced almond milk mocha with little ice and no whipped cream?â She left seemingly annoyed with me and brought the correct version several minutes later. No apologies offered. I asked for a straw, and she said, âI thought I brought you a straw earlier.â I said âNo, Iâm sorry I did not receive a straw.â She left and brought a straw back and almost threw it at our table without apologizing for any of the previous issues. This was the same person who took our initial order. Definitely not impressed with the customer service here!    Read moreUsually not one to write a bad review but here it is. I went on Sunday ordered 2 salads a grilled cheese and some desserts. All of this to go, the girl got the cheese cakes out of the case and put them on the counter and I told her they were to go. Her response was there are to go containers over there. Which she meant for me to go get two of them and package them myself so she could continue her conversation with the other two girls working. Seemingly annoyed we packaged them ourselves and waited forever for the rest of our food. Then they finally brought it out and gave it to us. We had 6 containers and had to ask for a bag to carry it in and was responded to with a look of oh great I have to get you something else. Got home both of the salads had soggy greens in them that were disgusting and the croutons were stale. I have ate many times at the one in Moline and never had this experience. I understand most of the employees are young but obviously there is no training in customer service from the management at this location. I was excited to eat from there as I hadn't in a while not being on the Illinois side for work anymore. But was totally disappointed in the lack of customer service and food quality.    Read moreI have visited Vibrant Coffeehouse + Kitchen on 2 occasions since they opened at the Bettendorf location. I utilized the drive thru on both occasions. During my first visit, ordering was easy and efficient. The staff were friendly and attentive. However, it took the staff member a few minutes to come to the window after I ordered at the menu. The staff member was knowledgeable and provided me with my hot beverage after paying for it. She also answered questions that I had about the app for rewards. On my 2nd visit, I ordered through the drive thru again, and had a similar experience. I ordered a cold beverage and a breakfast food item. I then parked my car, so that I could eat at the dining tables on the patio. The quality of the food and beverages are excellent and they are delicious as well. Once I entered my vehicle and was ready to leave about an hour or so later, I took another sip of my beverage and a long fine brown strand of hair came up through the straw. I immediately went back through the drive through to inform staff of this issue and requested for management to be present. They listened and were empathetic. The manager came out to my vehicle and I showed her the issue. She resolved the issue and handled the situation appropriately. I truly hope that this is a rare occasion and staff that prepare beverages are mindful of lengthy hair that may fall into someone's food or drink while they are preparing and serving...
