Jade's Teacup Cafe — Restaurant in Pleasanton

I swear, sometimes I wonder whether my girls really want tea and the softest, chewiest boba, or whether they want to visit this Happy Lemon because the owners are so amazing. The customer service makes this our fave place. There are iTea, T4, other happy lemon locations, and I would say that besides our other fave Boba Guys shop in San Ramon, this is our go to....Kathy and Samantha remembered our order the second time we visited, they start our drinks when we walk in, they know my kids and me by name, they make time to listen to my 8 year old’s puns, and to make eye contact with every customer, and to really serve great tea and snacks with a smile. This is the east bay. There are Tons of places to pick up tea and boba, but this is how you create a loyal following... come and visit. Start with the classic milk tea, they can customize sweetness and ice levels and then get creative... taro, earl grey, milk tea with salted cheese (so good!!), and the puff cream milk tea... only one of my brood likes boba, but she and I go to get our fix while the other two get their strawberry milkshakes... :) the parking lot is busy and can be a bit dangerous with blind spots. But it’s super convenient with pizza, a gas station with 7-11, Walmart marketplace, an Indian grocery, and our go to korean soup place all in the same complex. The only thing that would make it better is a location right...

I really enjoy the food and drink they have to serve here, but unfortunately am leaving a 1 star review for the poor customer service. I came in a while ago and bought many drinks, waffles and sides and went home with it. I only realized they forgot my puff cream sauce once I got home that day. I came in once again today and politely requested that since they forgot my puff cream sauce last time, they should throw one in for free this time. They refused to do so just because I didn't have the receipt proof. It is only a $1 item, but it is something I paid for and never got. I am actually a bit upset over this and hence leaving the review in the hopes that someone will learn from...

Not-so-secret Rewards Program... One free drink after every ten drinks! We usually get the lemon slushy here without the lychee jelly add-on bc the lychee jelly doesn't quite pair with the lemon ice IMHO. The lemon is so fresh, ALMOST like how they make the lemon icees in Positano, Italy. But the difference is that Happy Lemon has large sizes! Yum!

The order comes out FAST since it's dispensed from their slushy machine. Love it! Thursday evenings from 5-8pm are happy-hour (buy 2 get 1 free).

I also love their classic milk tea with puff cream and NO boba, 25% sugar, light ice. Thick fluffy creamy classic chilled milk...
