What a night to remember—Saturday night and the place was packed, the perfect sign that something delicious was unfolding inside. From the moment we walked in, the energy was lively yet welcoming. The rolls were absolutely tasty, each one showing a thoughtful balance of flavors and freshness. I ordered lion king and red rock canyon. I can tell the tempura inside the roll was freshly made! Service delivered with a friendly smile made the evening feel even more homey—consistently excellent, even in the midst of the weekend rush. It wasn’t just attentive—it was genuinely warm and helpful.

A highlight of the night? My daughter’s order of tempura udon—the broth was comforting and rich, with perfectly crisp shrimp tempura providing lovely contrast. Watching her enjoy each mouthful was a joy in itself.

As if the evening needed another memorable moment, the fresh uni we ordered arrived and was nothing short of spectacular. Silky, creamy, and absolutely bursting with ocean-fresh flavor—the kind of uni that makes you pause and savor every bite. My 10 yr old girls wish : unlimited amount of uni from Katsume! It’s that good.

I called in an order today (hamachi carpaccio, hamachi nigiri, edamame, lunch bento box with teriyaki chicken & salmon sashimi). They gave me an estimated time of 15min. I arrived 7 min after I called and the order was already there waiting for me. I was greeted and thanked by all the staff- great customer service! The inside was really clean, sleek, upscale, and modern. The food: as several people have mentioned the freshness and quality of the fish is off the charts! The hamachi carpaccio was DELICIOUS - im already craving it again lol. My coworker said the hamachi nigiri was buttery and super fresh. The bento box was beautifully presented and scrumptious. I'm so glad help suggested this place because it just quickly became my new fav spot! Will absolutely be a frequent customer I was salivating as I was writing this review and just ended up doordashing it...

Katsumi is such a cute little family-owned spot. You can really tell they put love into the food and service. The staff are super attentive and accommodating. Everything we tried was spot-on — the sushi rolls had the perfect rice-to-fish ratio, the sashimi was super fresh, and the bluefin tuna literally melts in your mouth. All the apps were great too; the fried oysters and tempura were amazing. It’s rare to find a place that nails both the kitchen dishes and the rolls/sashimi but this spot does it perfectly. I eat sushi on a weekly basis and I’m sad I don’t live nearby, but if I did, it would definitely be my go-to. Definitely recommend and...
