Great donuts. Probably my favorite in the east bay! I've starting coming here since I moved here. These donuts are really fluffy and the quality of the donut really is among the best. Other places I've found to be old or too thick, or the consistency of the dough was off in some way. Here, the sweetness isn't overly sweet for a donut and just amazing when fresh. I used to wake up/stay up till they opened so I could have one fresh and nothing beats a fresh donut from the Jelly Donut. Super friendly staff, always say hi and always sneak in an extra donut~!...

This place is a Pleasanton staple, it's been around at least 25 years. A family-owned and operated business, the donuts are unmatched (seriously) and the service is friendly and prompt. If you want jelly donuts, authentic and homemade, this place is it. Of course they have all other types of donuts too but the ones with creme, custard or jelly filled are quite a treat. This isn't a boutique donut shop per se but it does have a weird sense of visiting your aunt or godmother.
