Strizzi Restaurant in Pleasanton, CA, left us thoroughly impressed. The Caesar Salad was a refreshing starter, boasting crisp greens and a tangy dressing. The Garlic Shrimp & Artichoke Linguini was a revelation, the flavors perfectly balanced. The Penne Pomodori showcased the authenticity of Italian cuisine, a delightful medley of flavors in each bite.

Their wine selection added a sophisticated touch, enhancing the overall dining experience. The family-run vibe was evident not only in the inviting atmosphere but also in the attentive service, which made us feel like cherished guests.

The restaurant's decor, adorned with photos, exuded a sense of tradition and heritage, giving a glimpse into the heart of the business. Strizzi's dedication to their craft shone through in every aspect.

And the dessert? Oh, we shared a bread pudding with caramel sauce that was the perfect ending. The excellence of our meal continued through to this sweet treat.

For those seeking genuine Italian flavors in a warm, familial setting, Strizzi is a gem. From the delectable dishes to the well-curated wine list and indulgent desserts, it's a haven for food, wine, and dessert enthusiasts alike. Our visit was a memorable one, and we're already looking forward to our next culinary...

I met my friend here for lunch to catch up. It is located in a cute area of Downtown Pleasanton. We were greeted by the host when we arrived with a friendly smile and led to our table outside since it was a beautiful day! The outside had a good amount of tables and was surprising quiet for it being next to the main road. We were seated by the door but I hardly noticed any foot traffic of people coming in and out. The server stopped by pretty quickly, dropped off bread and took our drink orders.

When he came back with our drinks, I ordered Fuji apple walnut salad and the seafood fettuccine from the light dinning combo menu and my friend ordered the full size minestrone soup and the grilled shrimp cob. Our first course soup and salad were so good, I wish I would have gotten two orders so I could take one home with me. For our second course, my friend raved about her salad and I was so happy with my entree. The portions were great size and I ended up taking about half my fettuccini home and happily enjoyed for lunch the next day as well.

I would definitely come back again and recommend to...

The restaurant is in a prime location. As I walked in i noticed how large it was on the inside and they have outdoor seating as well. The manager Andre sat me at my table as I passed the smiling faces of the cooking staff on the line. I started with the Ceasar Salad and it was great and refreshing. Next I had the Pappardelle and Pancetta. Pasta was fresh, Pancetta was cooked properly. If I had to find a complaint, the sauce had too much cream. It thins the sauce and dilutes the flavor. I finished off with the Bread Pudding which was a large serving and proper way to finish the meal. Andre told me that he just got to the restaurant recently but that he has a love and passion for food. Owning and having a restaurant is about constant and consistent improvements and he seems like the right guy to do it. I recommend if youre in the mood for Italian.
