I came here to get a tea to have some caffeine for my migraine that was starting. This was my interaction when I got to the window.
Employee: hi, your total is (blank).
(handing her the money and receiving my drink. As she’s getting my change I put the straw in my cup and immediately smell coffee. I am allergic to coffee so I ask for a new lid.)
Me: can I have a new lid? I’m allergic to coffee.
Employee walks away and says to coworker: I have to get a new lid because she’s allergic to coffee.
Me: (as she hands me the new lid I say) sorry, I’m allergic to coffee and the lid smelled like coffee.
Employee: well this is a coffee shop so we can’t change that.
I am shocked with what she said. All I asked for was a new lid and gave a reason why. Yes I know it’s a coffee shop and I know they can’t do anything about it but telling me this with the attitude she had wasn’t necessary. If you want to make fun of customers for things like this fine but don’t do it within ear shot and then to our faces. I tried calling the store to tell them privately but after listening to the phone ring and calling back 3 times I guess I’ll just make this public review.
All I asked for was a new lid. I like Dunkin’s iced tea and I know that there’s coffee involved with cross contamination but if I smell coffee on my tea lid I’m going to ask for a...
Read moreIf you’re looking for a Dunks with great, or even decent customer service, turn around…believe me, it’s worth the drive the Commerce. I’ve been coming to this location for many years. This late morning/early afternoon crew are the utmost rude group of (children) I’ve ever met. They curse like no one’s listening. They speak inappropriately to customers, and to actually get a simple coffee right would be a good day. Then when you request it to be remade, it’s a whole thing, and you’re just blacklisted as a paying patron. I was verbally & quite viciously attacked by about half this crew today. Simply because one employee has a grave problem with toasting a donut. (something I get everyday) Then that was it. The dominos began to fall. One girl calling me a bit**, another young man saying there’s always a problem when I’m in. Which is completely untrue. If a young group of kids can’t deal with a paying customer kindly asking for a remake because someone was too lazy to fill their ice machine, or just feeling a bit lazy, their in the wrong line of business. Dunks is a place where people should feel welcome, and treated with kindness. You will not...
Read moreVery disappointing! This is a 24 hour Dunkin’ Donuts. The largest one in the city of Plymouth to boot. Always open on Christmas day. This year their hours showed open until 1pm. Now, if you’re a diehard Dunkin’ Donuts drinker, such as myself, people drive from very far distances to get their specific coffees, etc. This store did NOT close at 1pm. They had the drive thru blocked off with a car w/a note on it that was not at all visible. There was someone standing at the entrance, saying they were not accepting anymore costumers. Mind you, this was going on when I arrived at 12:15pm! Now, I get it. People want to get home to their families on Christmas. But don’t advertise your store hours, and suddenly decide to close up shop before you’re supposed to. That’s just wrong. Now, my thought is maybe the owners or manager may not have even know about this, and the employees took it into their own hands to make that decision. Well, I’ll certainly be bringing it up with the owner, as I’m sure many others will be as well. Especially judging by the vastly annoyed customers that were being sent away after approaching the entrance, long before 1pm....
