Pizza Express — Restaurant in Point Pleasant

I hate writing lame reviews but I felt that I needed to. The pizza is OK! A bit too much bread for me. I like the crunchiness in a pizza but my husband insisted to go with this pizza spot for my daughter’s bday party. The lady that took my order a few days ago was very helpful and nice. I had mentioned on the phone that I need my pizza pies cut into small toddler sizes since it was for a party. She assured me that I will get them cut over and over and we will get utensils so I didn’t have to worry about it.

Fast forward to the day of the party. Our pizza arrived on time but unfortunately with no utensils nor with the pizza cut up into small slices. So I called to ask for utensils and the guy said that the delivery guy would be there shortly. A whole hour went by and the place is only 10-15mins away from me and still no utensils. I then called again to complain and he said the delivery guy was delivering to other places and that he would be there shortly.

Since the pies were not cut I had to cut them myself with kitchen scissors and since the took forever to come to now the pies were cold. I had to place them in the oven to be able to serve to my guests. It was very frustrating to do all of this. When they came to my place with the utensils it was not enough that we ran out of plates and had to use our house porcelain plates.

We made it work but once again this was very frustrating to have to go through this on a day I was suppose to be enjoy it with my daughter. Took so much out of my time to cut these pies and heat them up.

My father had also given the driver a very nice tip which i understand it’s not his fault but that day when I called it seemed like the guy had no care for my concern. I am very disappointed...

NEVER AGAIN.......So I came to pizza express today is Friday, January 5, 2018 and I ordered a chicken cheesesteak barbecued with Bacon. It didn’t take too long to make I got the food took one bite and to me it was a little rough and I said well you know what maybe I’ve got a bite full bacon but no it was horrible I was so hungry but lost my appetite and It was very disappointing. I took the rest of the sandwich up to the counter told the lady behind the counter no the chicken was really rough it seems like it’s old, her response to me was well data chicken cheesesteak and I said to her you know chicken seems all is well. I don’t know if I’m bit-into bacon or chicken and that’s a problem there was no type of trying to Make the customer happy and there was nobody in there like the least they could’ve done is offer me another sandwich or something but all I got was a ignoring face from the manager smh NEVER AGAIN going to grab something from quick check half...

Worst delivery experience ever. After being told my food would arrive in 30 minutes i waited an hour till i called wondering where it was. The girl on the line informed me the kid just left. 20 minutes later still no food. I called again. I was then passed back and forth between people as they tried to figure out what happened. Finally i was told my food was delivered and signed for already. I was confused since i was starving and without food. Put on hold, told again the driver insisted he dropped my food at my house. I drove up to the place id and card in hand. The old man acted as though i was the liar and this kid swore he gave me my food. Ridiculous display of buisiness. I understand mistakes can be made but dont act as though im standing there cause i wanted free food as my stomaches growling. No matter how good the food is. The people make the place and I've lost all the love i had for...
