Farmer Boys — Restaurant in Pomona

LORENA is what makes my experience EVERY time I visit!! LORENA is my Farmerboy's BESTIE and makes the experience of simply coming to get a shake and burrito (at the end of a nights hard work shift) TWICE as enjoyable. Visiting this Farmerboy's is like visiting a friend. When I visit the Farmerboys in Irvine I feel as if I am cheating on my BESTIE LORENA because she can't greet me there!! Every time I visit I hear "Good morning my name is LORENA, Thank you for visiting Farmerboys, How can I help you today?" She is a very memorable person, pleasant to talk to, prompt in service, personable, and you can just tell she's "good people." Once, Lorena didn't answer the drive through box and It was noticeably not her voice. I was very sad, then... Low and behold, there's is LORENA handing me my shake at the window. Farmerboys should build Lorena a studio apartment so she never has to leave. Farmerboys would cease to exist(kidding) without the service Lorena contributes. The food I get here is always amazing. I am a creature of habit and love the breakfast burrito with bacon. The burrito is always to perfection with melty cheesiness and endless potatoes and eggs, handed to me with such care by LORENA knowing she's feeding my withering stomach after 12 hours, or maybe for later before my 12 hour shift. I get calories and nutrients to survive all because LORENA takes my order, submits it, and hands it to me with such care. I don't know the names of the others in there but I always have an amazing experience here and I thank everyone here. I am obviously a returning customer because I couldn't live without seeing my Farmerboys...

I ordered for delivery and to make a long story short I ordered the bar-b-q RANCH salad. I order this every single time I go to Farmer boys and it’s always beyond great. I order it specifically because the ranch is just the best and topping my salad with that ranch is my whole purpose because without the ranch the salad is NOTHING! Well I got my salad but NO RANCH!!! I double check my receipt to make sure it wasn’t an error on my end and right there it says 1 Ranch, look in my bag one more time and turn it inside out even and the only thing that falls is the lonely bar-b-que cup filled with bar-b-q sauce, NO RANCH! I’m not a complainer I swear but this warranted a complaint. Do you not read your orders or the title of your salad. I mean it’s called Bar-b-que RANCH chicken salad. You sent the bar-b-que sauce that I did not ask for but not the Ranch I requested. If I could give less than one star I would because now I’m stuck with a salad with no ranch. It’s like drinking kool -aid with no sugar. Luckily I ordered a grill cheese. I never order anything else but I guess I somehow knew something would happen. There’s my receipt and on the 3rd line is the ranch...

Location had a fire months ago, closed for a bit, seems staff are nearly all different. Food was fine, fries were gross, think they are using completely new oil in fryer instead of keeping a portion. (Fries were pale, not golden brown)

Past: Was here recently, staff were fine, imagine rude staff have all moved along. Food was very good. Will start coming here again. And to further explain original review before, staff would arbitrarily close dining area early, and were borderline rude telling you to take your food and go. Wasn't a 1 time occurrence, next visit a few weeks later same thing. Stopped going for a few years.

Original review: Standard Farmer Boys, so the food, price, bathroom, parking, entrance, and seating are as you would expect. However, this location, I would go elsewhere. It is not that they are rude, but they aren't nice. Which makes no sense to me, because I get that this is Pomona, and some areas aren't so nice, but the Jack in the Box down the street, which looks pretty shabby, has excellent workers there, always friendly and helpful. So Pomona Farmer Boys, please try to be like them, or even the McDonald's or KFC...
