Worst experience ever, we went for breakfast with my family, and we wont come back ever!, first my cup was dirty (lipstick on it), then my brother find a pice of glass on his food, yes thats right a pice of GLASS and by the time we where talking with the manager (I don't believe she's the manager) my wife find another pice of glass on her food, I told my kids to stop eating and we all didn't finish our food then the "manager" bring the check, about $70.00 and I absolutely refuse to pay (are you kidding me a pice of GLASS in your food), she said shell call the owner and let him know about the situation and I ask to talk to him, she came back and said that if I want to talk to the owner I can come back on Wednesday but that I need to pay that check.
I was really mad and to avoid any problems I did paid the check.
Now, I'm the owner two restaurants and I can tell you that my answer in that situation will be totally different, first I would be a shame of that situation, I understand incidents can happened but something like this is a danger to your customer health, I would apologize and immediately have a meeting at the kitchen with my food handling employees, that is a shame and it can be avoid. then I will, for not reason let the customer pay for that food and even give the a coupon or a free comeback in order for me to show them that we do care about our customers their health and their experience at our facility.
Its a shame to restauranteurs that places like this exist, with out our customers we wont be in...
Read moreUnfortunately, I came while they apparently are short on staff. My server, Regalado could not contain his stress and it tainted my overall experience of this place. Made it easier to notice how poorly ventilated the place was, plenty of a/c but most mini-split supply vents were pointed down at the floor and the ceiling-fans were spinning the wrong way if cooling the place down was the goal. Regalado sat me in an awkward, isolated booth/table immediately next to the emergency exit. The servers' (Regalado) stress made me not want to ask for accommodation... it seemed like I was being punished for coming to eat when they are short on staff. First time here so this is all I know of this place, great looking place, great food, but poorly applied ventilation, service, and seating. Highly recommend they do not sit people at that table, it shouldn't be there, although it is likely another handicap-accessible table they want. I tried to voice some suggestions as I paid for my meal but Regalado was just interested in seeing me out once he saw that my tip reflected the poor service I got, which was still a whopping 20% considering the terrible experience, not even a thank you or an interest in how my experience was. Too busy to serve customers is bad service. Would love to try again once they organize their situation and get help or better...
Read moreToday my parents went here for breakfast because it is close to my mother’s doctor’s office. The food was excellent, and the portion size was large. Both had breakfast steak and eggs, and the other pancakes, great meal for the price. The service far exceeded our expectations, and my father asked me to write a review. My mother is partially paralyzed and in a wheelchair, making any outing a major ordeal. Immediately one of the servers ran up and held the door to aide in entering the restaurant. They were seated in a comfortable handicapped accessible spot, often in public my mother in her wheelchair is made to feel like they are in the way or like we need to rush (which isn’t always easy. We often can’t find an ideal place to sit and eat, or are not properly accommodated by stores and dining establishments who claim to be handicapped accessible. After the meal when my parents were in line to pay one of the employees told my dad he could help my mom into the car and then could come back to pay for the meal so my mother would be more comfortable. As a customer this type of service is above and beyond and we will now dine here after all of my mother’s frequent appointments. Thank you Pancakes R’ Us for making a physically challenged individual and their family feel welcome in your...
