I stopped for the first time just now on my way home from work. I ordered the roasted pork with cheese and mayo. Well, I'll never go there again! I thought the sandwich would be crispy, toasted, and delicious, panini style. In fact, I even asked if that's what it would be like, I was told yes. Instead, I got the GREASIEST sandwich I ever had in my life!!!! I took 2 bites and then I called them from home. I asked him, why is my sandwich so greasy???? The guy starts bragging about using olive oil. I told him it's Drenched in oil!!!! YUCK, I TOSSED IT IN THE TRASH!!! I just spent $20.68 on a sandwich and small potato salad, the sandwich is in the trash. I'll never go back! I don't have money to throw away like that! I thought it would be a crunchy, panini sandwich, not a drowned in grease on top of the grill slop sandwich, that'swhy I asked! I even asked, is it toasted like a panini? Oh yes he said. It's not toasted like a panini, it's grilled in a puddle of olive oil on top of the grill, NOT THE SAME THING!!!! Imagine a grilled cheese sandwich that is limp in grease, that you could wring oil out of,...
Read moreVisited this place the 2nd time before writing my review, and have to say, if you are looking for sandwiches, they know how to make them! They also have salads and apparently breakfast sandwiches as well. Apple Pay for the win, and you can easily call them to order for pick up. They have dine in , medium size place, and of course to go. Prices are quite fair!
We ordered the Tuna and the BBQ Pork. Both of them was real good! Tuna had a lot of veggies inside, and it was great with the bread toasted. The BBQ Pork was quite good. I havent really had that type of sandwich for a while. It isnât a pulled pork either, but was just so packed with flavor. We were also able to try their side coleslaw, that was pretty good too, it wasnt too sweet.
Anyone that wants to buy bread, it seems like they make their own, with different flavors like Rosemary Sourdough, Marbe Rye, etc⊠At least for now if I would like a hot sandwich I know where to go....
Read moreIâm so glad the Brick Market and Deli opened in Pomona! I work in the area and there are plenty of fast food and hole in the wall places, but healthier lunch options are lacking. The Brick offers a clean environment with light and healthy sandwiches and salads. I love picking up a lunch combo, which comes with a sandwich, side salad and a fountain drink from the cool coke machine. My favorites includetheir much talked about chicken shawarma and the grilled sausage sandwich. If youâre craving pastrami but not the grease, try their pastrami and havarti sandwich, itâs great. Itâs hard to choose a favorite of thesalads because it really depends on your mood. For something lighter, try the Greek cucumber or fruit salad. For something more filling, their potato salad is amazing, along with the coleslaw and pasta salads.Be sure to check out their pastries and the market items too, you may find some hidden gems. Canât...
