This place was so so so good. I always judge a Mexican restaurant by their rice and everything from the rice to the guac was delicious. I would call ahead or prepare to wait.... because they hand make each tortilla as it's ordered it takes a little while but very much so with the wait.
*Update. Since they moved to 3rd street, things have changed. We have ordered 3 times since their move and each time the order was wrong or incomplete. I've even confirmed the order on the phone too and we still arrive having to wait for them to make things they miss. This is super annoying since we drive over 20 mins to get there. Also, when we order taquitos to go, they used to put the sauces on the side which makes sense so it doesn't get soggy. Now though they put sauces on the Taquitos which makes everything gross by the time we get home. And the taquito sauce is different. More of an orange tint and doesn't taste the same. Idk what changed when they moved to 3rd street but so far its not been the same. I'm hoping the owners read this and go back to the awesome way they used to do things before their move
*update, they adjusted the way to go orders are prepped and everything was delicious :) ordering online instead of the phone helps to avoid...
Read moreSad to say, this was one of my favorite, places to eat in pomona, went by with my family a couple days ago I ordered from the vegan menu, which I have before and my order was brought wrong and with cheese, which I really didn't mind because I'm vegetarian not vegan, but it would have been a huge issue for someone vegan, my tacos were still wrong they were all different when I ordered 3 of the same, the server who was amazing noticed right away and took it back to get remade, next we got our mole tots which were my favorite item there, and to my surprise a big chunk of chicken was in there, also our amazing server got them remade, but at this point I was skeptical about eating it but I was also hungry, my tacos came out and yet again I ate the first one which was what I ordered and was yummy, then I got to the next one and again it is wrong they literally made me the same thing again but without cheese, by this point I was really upset, but didn't show it, the server took it back and I just said I didn't want it anymore. I think the smaller restaurant was 100 times better because the owner was always there , so there was quality control. I might still go back, I hope this was just a new cooks situation and they get it...
