A Magical, Soul-Nourishing Haven! From the moment I stepped into The Soulful Steep, I felt instantly wrapped in a warm, welcoming embrace. Nestled at 122 N Flagler Ave, this charming tea house / coffee house / bakery / emporium isn’t just a café—it’s an experience.

The ambiance is pure bliss: eclectic, colorful, artful—every corner bursts with creativity, vintage charm, and hippie vibes that inspire peace and relaxation.

Scented soaps, crystals, mismatched seating, and whimsical décor make you feel at home, yet transported to a dreamlike sanctuary.

The menu is equally delightful. Over 60 organic teas, expertly brewed coffees, and specialty drinks like the dreamy Blue Lotus Lavender Latte won me over immediately.

And the baked goods? Empanadas, cookies, muffins—available in vegan, gluten-free, and sugar-free options—are crafted with care and bursting with flavor. Im addict d to the empanadas.

One of the highlights: the Himalayan Salt Cave. This serene "Zen Den" invites you to recline, breathe in the salty air, and let go of stress—literally a soul reset.

The owners—Christina & John—have clearly poured their hearts into making this place a sanctuary for kindred spirits. Their creative touches—from the peaceful salt cave to the gift emporium featuring local artisanal treasures, handmade jewelry, and quirky décor—reflect a genuine passion for community and well-being.

To top it all off, The Soulful Steep hosts live music, DJ nights spinning classic vinyl, manifestation writing sessions, and free concerts on the patio—adding rhythm and connection to your visit.

In short: This place is a rare gem. It’s cozy, creative, heartwarming—and offers so much more than your average café. It’s a sanctuary for the soul, a community hub, and a vessel for pure joy. Highly, highly recommend The Soulful Steep for anyone craving comfort, creativity, good vibes, and unforgettable sips (and treats!). *Update: I tried the salt cave and it was SO ZEN!! 45 minutes of the most relaxing vibrational music in this room full of Himalayan salt from floor to ceiling. You leave your things in a locked storage (no phones, which was so nice). They give you a heated, scented eye pillow (I chose lavender). You sit/lay back in these zero gravity chairs and just relax. BREATHE is on the wall in soft lights, behind the salt. It felt like being transported to a place outside of time...just you and the salt for 45 minutes. Leave your cares at the door and just pray/meditate/nap while the room works its peace in you. The room is turned to a perfect 72 degrees, and they have head pillows (that can be used for lumbar) and thick, super fluffy blankets if you get cold. I am so grateful I got to try this, you could feel the love that was put into it. Afterwards they give you water for replenishment. And honestly for about 15 minutes after I just happily sat in the cafe; I had to adjust back to being in the real world. It was one of the best meditative places I've ever visited. HIGHLY recommend!!! ✨

The best decision I made all week was coming to this adorable cafe. The owners were so friendly and gave me a tour of their incredible salt cave room, which I can't wait to go back and try out. I had the most delicious bacon & plum empanada with a blackberry lemon mushroom drink. Their dog, Ocean, set the tone for the most chill vibes. The decor, atmosphere, food & drink were just perfect. I grabbed a book from their little library to read while I ate. I also snapped a picture of their event calendar because it seems like they always have something fun going on. 15/10 would definitely...

☕️ I just discovered this rockin’ eclectic colorfully & artfully decorated hippie style cafe where I can sit & do some manifestation writing while sipping my favorite, the Blue Lotus Lavender Latte, a difficult choice yo make from a fabulous menu of healthy crafted drinks, local cakes, pastries, cookies, empanadas & a mini menu of other yummies! There is a corner with cool stuff to buy highlighting local artwork, things yo to wear, jewelry (always my fav!), and even doggie treats & doggie bandanas! Tonite, Friday, there’s a stage set up with tables & chairs on the back patio with an excellent band (free!) You can bring your own folding chairs if you like. Tonites band “THE FLYERS” 🎸🎹🥁🪘are really great musicians that had us up dancing! 💃🏻🕺 Before I forget one of the owners is a professional DJ with turntables & classic vinyl set up mid cafe which he likes to spin! 🌪️📀🤘🏼💿 But wait, there’s more! If that’s not enough they have a HIMALAYAN PINK SALT ROOM - dimly lit with a sound bath piped in, it’s heavenly! I just bought a few 45 minute sessions! It’s healthy for the respiratory system which nourishes other systems, the skin, or just everything with negative ions, known to lower inflammation, but for me Im going for the psyche, relaxation!
