McDonald's — Restaurant in Ponca City

I am only rating this as 1 star because that is the lowest this scale ranges. If you are a business that serves food in ponca city and you are allergic to money, please read my review below. This McDonalds has figured out how to not make a profit.

In the past 6-months our local McDonald's has really fallen short on filling the needs of its customers. While the bulk of their business happens during day time hours, they seem to forget that some people do work overnights. While it is certainly true that they are open, what you can order is always a mystery until you are waiting in line. During the past 14 days I have tried to order hamburgers and 9 of those times I was politely told that it was breakfast only. I would not care at all except that it would be really simple for someone in the building to post a sign with times for what is available. The most recent occurrence just happened tonight at 1:51am.

To clarify, I love McDonalds and so do many other people that work overnights. We are not complaining about the quality of the food but more about the lack of leadership and/or inability to make a decision. If the decision is to start breakfast every day at 2am just post it so the rest of your customers can plan...

I have worked on the road for many years and have ate McDonald's all over the country ponca city is by far the worst McDonald's in the United States of AMERICA there will only be one register open taking orders no matter how full the the place gets and then you will be put on the back burner while the staff ignores you and attends to the drive thru I called the customer help number and some idiot called me back trust me he did not want to hear what I had to say on top of that the creature with the green hair is straight up rude obviously the management needs an overhaul as well they need to learn from the management at the McDonald's in Eldorado ks now that is by far the best McDonald's in our nation and I would prefer to drive the 80 miles that eat at that establishment in PONCA CITY. OKLAHOMA if I could rate that establishment a negative 100 I would either replace the whole lot of them or close it and put a good place to eat in its spot. That is all I have to...

To be fair the atmosphere would have been fine but the cutomer people were a bit hostile and that killed the vibe. Poncas McDonald's is under relatively new management / ownership and they did a full remodel and it looks great. The staff is having some struggle, and I'm not sure its entirely their fault. The remodel has cups by the register. But staffing has the customers ordering in the self serve and thus not getting drink cups. So theres a group of folks who have gotten their food but no drinks grumpy and teying to get the attention of workers who are not coming to the front very often. Add in the staff at drive through not giving straws or sauce so folks were coming in angry about that as well which didnt encourage them to come out more.
