Chinese Express — Restaurant in Ponca City

Before today I would of gave them a 3or 4 star but I had place a order to go a couple weeks ago and mind you we go there alot, we usually spend 38 to 40 dollars just for two. Well I had called in after we got home and told them that my dinners tasted bad and they forgot my order of egg rolls. She said come back I'll replace I said I live in Winfield Kansas so it might be a couple of weeks she said that's fine .I gave her my name tho she would of wrote it down. She did not do today I called said I was in town can I come in and get it. They said yes. When I get their with another woman waiting they started asking me a million questions made me talk to almost everyone there why the lady was talking in their language but I heard the name.lair three times come out of her mouth. So I said the evening I was in here I waited right over their and the man came out of the kitchen having words with a ex.emplyee I said none of you remember me. They just gripping among themselves anyway I get home with what was supposed to be my meal and it tasted like they got the four seasons beef and the fyd Rice tasted like ash tray. I just threw it in the trash. So I will never go there again. It does really make me made they could of done all that over the phone and told me no they didn't remember me, that's the only reason I waited for the dinner just because they could of just said not to come. Love -- cashew chicken (white meat) , Love the Moo Goo( yum) chicken fried rice with (white meat instead of dark) - yes we order it that way and yes it is extra but that is normal, beef fried rice, Cho Cho beef, BEST EGG ROLLS anywhere!! Like the crispy noodles! This a local drive-thru family owned Chinese express- the people are ALL VERY NICE! It is a no frills restaurant but they are always pleasant and are always nice about SPECIAL making everything- no onions or brown sauce instead of white or no broccoli or no mushrooms - white meat instead of dark (yes it is extra but that is normal) I have been driving thru here for years and everyone is always pleasant, the food is always fresh and good- They make it to order- and it is the only place we ever get egg rolls! Also we love the crab Rangoon's! Everyone knows they are closed on Mondays and that is why on Tuesdays people get in some pretty good lines to get this food! I have also known people to "stock up" before they close for their vacation once a year! You want to talk about lines --- When they get back from vacation people love this restaurant so much the lines can get huge! People have been lining up here for years to get their food! Repeat...

I love their egg drop soup! But minus 2 stars, because I wish it came with green onions, like it should! And the lady running the drive thru always seems so angry.

Now my husband would give the restaurant 1 star because we ordered sweet and sour chicken, and they doused the red sauce all over the chicken, making it soggy. He said every other Chinese restaurant puts it in a separate container, so you can put how much sauce on it that you want. The egg rolls were really good, hot, fresh and crunchy! But that egg drop soup is my fave! It's inexpensive, nourishing (minus the sodium of course) and it just makes you feel better if you are congested/stuffy/have...
