Pizza Hut — Restaurant in Ponca City

I had 17 family members from out of town/state in for dinner at our local Pizza Hut on the 23rd of this month at six pm. We ordered pizzas, pasta, and salads from the menu. Our waitress took our order and told us to help ourselves to the salad bar. She delivered the drinks and never returned until bringing the check and asking if we needed anything else. We had already made several trips to the front for drink refills and plates. The salad bar was terrible, containers were empty and food was old and questionable. On an earlier occassion I stopped in for the lunch buffet. After waiting for someone to seat me as the sign requested and being ignored by several waitresses I seated myself. I was never offered a drink. I ate and could have walked out without anyone even knowing I'd been there. I thought the total lack of customer awareness was just that day. Since my last dinner experience it seems to be the norm. I will not go back. I spent just over 10 years with Pizza Hut, both parent the company and franchisee, as a store manager, area manager, and regional manager, in Ill, Fla, and Mo. I was supposed to have a credit from a past on-line order that charged me more than what I had entered with my credit card information. The store manager sent me an e-mail and said that I had an $18 credit and that I would need to call the store when placing my next order to get the credit. I called and the employee found no credit on my account. He was very polite and I knew there was nothing he could do. I went ahead and placed an on-line order (making sure the $ amount was correct). When I picked up my order, I gave the employee an envelope with a copy of the e-mail and a note explaining that I did not have the credit and asked that they give it to their manager who had sent me the email. (I put his name on the outside of the envelope) He was not working at the time, so am hoping to have the problem resolved. We do love our Pizza Hut! I was actually surprised that the pizza did not even taste good. That is not something I can explain, it just is. I ordered a mushroom, onion, and tomato. The tomato was nowhere to be seen. Pretty sure it just said "I am out" and it went. The pizza chef just passed the mushroom and onion over the crust, hoping in vain that it would pass through a cosmic veil and land on the dough. OK, it kind of worked as there were a couple of pieces on there. They tasted old. Sauce? Good of you to ask. Nope, I can't say there was any. Maybe it was the "pass the ladle over the crust" again.
