We walked buy and saw they had lunch specials. We each ordered bistec con cebollas (steak with onions), arroz blanco y habicuelas rosadas white rice with stewed pink beans). Each lunch includes a bottled water. It was very good. 🤗 We will definely go again. The lunch special changes each week day, but I took photos of their regular menus. The guitars decorating the walls and front disply were all hand painted by local artists from Ponce. All wines are from Spain. Currently, they are looking for a Flamenco dancer as their previous one moved to the States. Cuerdas is a restaurant set in an open plaza. It's nice and windy, so it's great for a large group.
They also have indoor options, but I didn't go in to see. Service was pretty good, and the waitress was always checking up on us. Alcohol was a bit slow to arrive (15 mins) but food showed up fast (35 mins).
Prices are high, but not ridiculous. And food quality is higher than most so it compensates.
