we are a family traveling from NY and from Chile, we went to dinner at 9:40 pm, the place and atmosphere looks spectacular, but the place is managed horribly, the place had around 8 tables of which only two were occupied, They located us and we were waiting 1 hour and a half, when I called the waitress I told her that part of us was leaving because the wait was too long, the girl told me NO if the food is ready they are plating it. We waited a few more minutes. My son's hamburger arrived (it was the only good thing) then two adult dishes arrived (tenderloin angus with steak fries), a cold steak arrived, with no flavor at all with regular French fries, in my life I had tasted something of such bad taste I think it was a prison menu. Three of the people at the table had ordered the same thing, only one ate it (because her diabetes disease requires her to eat something, otherwise she would not have eaten it), my stepson ordered a steak with steak fries cooked medium well and a fillet arrived in medium term. I began to cry from impotence, after so much waiting it was. It was impossible to eat at another restaurant, so part of my family was left without dinner, including me. The waitress who served us deducted the 3 tenderloin dishes from our bill, but this is more than just money, they completely ruined the evening for us, the quality of these dishes was terrible, without knowing I think that kitchen was managed by just one person and beginner. By far the worst dining experience we've ever had. (The waitress was very friendly, but she should have also advised the waiting time). (sorry for the quality of the pic, my little son had...
Read moreThe only good thing I can report about this place is the atmosphere and cocktails. We arrived from San Juan, (2 hrs drive) for a 7pm reservation to celebrate our engagement with my soon-to-be inlaws and daughter. The place was visually impressive. We waited a little while for our server Natalie, who was cheerful, professional and attentive. Natalie took our drink and appetizer order and returned pretty promptly. We proceeded to place our order for entrees and afterwards, the disappointment begins. At 8:45 pm our entrees had not arrived. We inquired with Natalie and she left to check the order. Our daughters burger and fries came out minutes later. Shortly after, Natalie returned apologetic and to tell us our order was working. We enjoyed the live band and our cocktails for a few moments and realized another 30 minutes had passed and 1 person from the party of 5 that was seated more than 30 minutes after us at the nearest table was having their entree. My new fiancé and I then approached the manager, Sam with our concerns.Sam went off to investigate but never returned with an update or feedback. At 9:35 pm, we gave up. Asked for the bill, paid and left. To the owner Sam has no influence on or any cooperation from her kitchen staff. Your business cannot achieve success in her hands. To you the reader, my advice is, have drinks and enjoy the band if there is one on the night you visit, but make dinner...
Read moreWas there about two months ago and fell in love with the place and the chicken Capresse. Then, my dish was beautifully plated, and the chicken breast was juicy and delicious. I went there last night July 31, and ordered the same, with high expectations. Total disappointment. The plating was different. The chicken breast was dry, tough and rubbery chewy, cut in two with the cheese, pesto and tomatoes laid on top. It was like a different, lower quality portion was used. It was difficult to cut, and I started with the thinner side. It was a disappointment but I went on. Then came the worst part, which as a restaurant patron I find unacceptable. The thicker side of the breast tasted like salmon, which is what another person at my table ordered. We were the first table to be seated and later 2 more tables were occupied. The grill was not cleaned or they were cooked too close to each other. A total turn off. Lazy chef? The waitress was very pleasant but obviously new on the job. It will be a while before I...
