I went to the drive-through this morning. I got me to oatmeal‘s a bacon egg and cheese with sausage McMuffin, large orange juice and three milks. They said it was $17 and some change when I pulled around they handed me my food I pulled up a little bit and looked at the food, I had a bacon egg and cheese Mc griddle two oatmeal’s large orange juice, and three milks but I originally asked them for a bacon egg and cheese with sausage McMuffin so I told the lady as she was walking in, but she never came back out, so I walked in myself, and she brought up the receipt and I explain to her that I told the lady to keep the receipt so she printed it out and brought it to me and showed me where I did not pay for the sausage and I told her that was fine that I would pay for the sausage but it didn’t explain why I had a Mc griddle and not a McMuffin, but she ignored me when I said that and walked away and then I had another lady walk up and asked me what was wrong and I told her and then she said that she had to charge me for the sausage and she charged me the full price of a sausage biscuit for one piece of sausage she charge me $2.50 for one piece of sausage which is equivalent to a whole sausage biscuit, which is absurd which I understand it ain’t a lot of money but it’s the idea of it if they do that to every customer and pocket the money then they got a lot of money at the end of the day in their own pocket I just thought people might want to know what they’re doing...
Read moreDon’t waste your time. The service has gone so downhill it’s literally not worth the money for sub par food anymore. I sat at the drive thru speaker/menu for a full 9 minutes this morning without a single acknowledgment. No “Hello, we’ll be with you in a moment”, no “Please give me just a moment, we’re working on an issue”…nothing. I would have understood and waited patiently if only I knew there was someone actually taking orders…I’m not unreasonable, I know places are short staffed and things are a bit crazy right now. But it’s how you communicate these things to your customers in times like these that matter. So I pulled up to the window to see what was going on and the line was piling up behind me with no one in front of me. At the window, two employees were clearly working on an issue and I was once again ignored completely even as I patiently waited. Again, not a single glance or acknowledgment. After about a minute, another staff member came up and took the headset from one of the staff and said that someone else would take orders. She looked at me and then turned to walk away without a single word. I did not make a scene, I did not ask for a manager, I simply pulled away went to Wendy’s where I was greeted by a friendly worker and served a hot & delicious breakfast in under 2 minutes. Being short staffed is one thing, treating your paying customers with complete and utter disregard is another thing entirely. Do...
Read moreThe sun had just risen over Ponchatoula, the Iowan invaders took the McDonalds by surprise and launched a massive assault on the small and outnumbered force of McDonalds workers. The woman in the red shirt, Colonel Yolanda, commanded her workers who were taken by surprise. “John! Cmon John!” She shouted with a commanding tone. John and his other comrade, in the middle of their breakfast, heroically rushed to the aid of their Colonel.
As the siege continued by the Davenport North Music Department, Colonel Yolanda and her workers fought gallantly to get all of the food into the hands of the customers. One customer, Sayleeb Hytrecker, waited in line for his smoothie. In a moment of true heroics and bravery, Red Shirt Lady rushed that smoothie out.
Colonel Yolanda moved her workers like a sweet symphony of tactics the likes of Napoleon Bonaparte. The barrage of orders never ceased, but the workers held the line. John, Yolanda, and some other dudes faced astronomical odds of survival. Their blood, sweat, and tears went into crafting the most impressive defense of a foreign invader that McDonalds has ever seen.
Those Iowa Yankees never stopped; but against all odds, the McDonalds still stood.
Long live Yolanda (Red Shirt Lady), long live John, and LONG...
