On Wednesday i placed an order for cupcakes a dozen and a 1/2 mixed some cupcakes were red velvet 4 with nuts one without nuts. I received a courtesy call on Friday from a really nice lady who had taken my order that Wednesday she repeated my order we said our goodbyes see you on Saturday. 12 pm Saturday I picked up my order nice lady opened the box I looked at my cupcakes didn't notice at that time no nuts on the red velvet, sign stating that I picked up and paid for my cupcakes. 30 minutes before my son's party I realized there's no nuts on the red velvet cupcakes honestly not a big deal but I paid $61.59 for dozen 1/2 for cupcakes heck we're my nuts. Immediately i called the cake corner to express my concern. The man who answered I'm assuming had to be the manager was so unsympathetic and dismissive he suggest that I return the cupcakes from my home back to his establishment (contamination) so that he could put nuts on my cupcakes The fact that's a health violation didn't bother him. I explained to him sir that wasn't necessary I simply called to let you know that there were no nuts on the order that I place. This man refuse to acknowledge the mistake and say i apologize for your inconvenience. Instead he said to me well you signed off stating that the order was correct 🤔 Sir my signature means I picked up my cupcakes. Wow how he tried to spend it around.

Jackie was incredibly helpful, patient, and kind she took the time to walk me through the process, answer all my questions, and even followed up exactly when she said she would (which is rare these days!). The only reason I didn’t go with them was due to some timing limitations on my end and the availability of a specific Fortnite cake kit I was looking for. Jackie suggested an edible image option, which was thoughtful, but we just didn’t have the time.
I was also hoping for Savannah-inspired cupcakes, and while The Cake Corner couldn’t accommodate that particular vision (they offered sprinkles instead), I truly appreciated the effort and care that went into trying to make it work.

Read moreI’ve been using the cake corner for 10 years. Every birthday, holiday, you name it- I place an order. This year for my husbands birthday I ordered a carrot cake. I called today to see if it was ready as my pickup time was approaching. The lady answered the phone and asked me to hold. I held, for 30 minutes. Long enough for me to arrive at the store to pickup. I got there and she told me they were "still working on it". I went back to the car to let me husband know. He decided we would return in the morning. He went inside to let them know we would pick up tomorrow instead and she said "they ain't even started it" .. I find it extremely unprofessional because only minutes prior she told me they were working on it. The cakes are great, but the customer service is absolute garbage. They do not respect customers time and money. If you want to place and order here, just keep in mind you will get a good cake- but only when they decide to put it together for you.
