I visited Chipotle on a Wednesday afternoon around 6 PM, expecting a fresh, enjoyable meal, but what I encountered was nothing short of heartbreaking. I have always enjoyed Chipotle, and it’s even my daughter’s favorite place to eat. That’s the only reason I even pushed through the experience—because she had a really bad day, and I wanted to bring her something comforting. Instead, this visit only added to my frustration and disappointment.
From the moment I stepped in, the restaurant was in a state of neglect. Trash and debris littered the floor, and most of the tables were dirty. It was clear that cleanliness and upkeep were not priorities here. There were six employees working—one at the register, two on the line, one handling mobile orders, and two in the kitchen—but despite this, the service was painfully slow. I waited in line behind five people, and the line barely moved because one customer was waiting for something from the kitchen before they could continue.
When it was finally my turn, I ordered 2 bowls, only to be met with another letdown. The portions were shockingly small, as if they were trying to ration every scoop. To make matters worse, they were out of grilled fajita vegetables and pico de gallo—two key ingredients I wanted. When I asked how long the wait would be for the grilled vegetables, the worker initially dismissed me, saying, “Oh, we don’t have any.” It wasn’t until I directly asked for a time estimate that he turned around and requested the kitchen to start making them—something that should have already been happening. Even then, I was told it would be a 10-minute wait, so I had to move forward without them.
As my bowls were being prepared, another worker was extremely stingy with the lettuce. I had to ask three separate times for more, and even then, it felt like I was inconveniencing him. The line itself was filthy, adding to the overall sense of carelessness. And if that wasn’t enough, when I got to the cashier, the young woman who rang me up was anything but friendly—her attitude was dismissive, as if my presence was an inconvenience.
This was, without a doubt, the worst experience I have ever had at Chipotle. This is a newer location, and it was my first time visiting, but I can say with certainty that it will also be my last. The lack of professionalism, the disregard for cleanliness, the subpar service, and the overall disrespect for customers left me feeling not only disappointed but truly hurt. A restaurant should take pride in what it offers, and above all, respect the people who choose to spend their hard-earned money there. Unfortunately, this Chipotle failed...
Read moreThis location sucks and I hate to say it. This Chipotle is so conveniently close to my apartment, I had ordered here quite a bit when I first opened. It was really great when it first opened, but now it is awful. Last week I finally earned enough points for a free entree. I ordered 3 hard shell tacos with chicken, fajita veggies, sour cream, cheese, rice and corn salsa. I also spent and extra $4 and some change for queso and chips since I had the free entree. When they gave me my order they said they did not have any chips, but gave me the queso lol. I got home and opened my food and my order was wrong. They gave me three soft tacos and the tortilla was so hard to eat, it was literally like chewing gum. Thankfully, I had an extra bag of tortilla chips at home to eat my queso (was not convenient because I paid for the chipotle chips). The queso was grainy, like they gave me the bottom of the barrel queso. They also gave me the tiniest bit of sour cream, absolutely crazy. I couldn’t finish my food, I was so upset because I used all of my points for that. Then, tonight I went back to pick up a mobile order. The boy at the window gave me the dirtiest look and looked at me like I was stupid when I told him my name. They did not have my order on time, I had to wait in the chipotle lane for about 8 minutes. I get home, my order is wrong again. They did not put sour cream or my corn salsa on it. They keep saying they are out of things but I don’t understand how. The chipotle that is about 15 minutes from my apartment is way better and I think I’m just going to have to make the commute at this point to get actual good service and my food being...
Read moreI can definitely see why the Chipotle at the Blue Moon location by the Publix has 2.4 stars. My experience there was horrible, I’m not sure of the young lady name (I think Lily) that was on the line on Thursday 8/7 at 5p but the service she provided was not one of someone who should work In food service or customer interaction. We arrived at the store during a slow Time it was only 2 of us and she was rushing like she had somewhr to go. The black beans were at the lowest limit and my daughter ask are you gonna replace the beans she said no there’s enough, when she got to me I asked when will you be replacing the beans and she implied she’s not and can’t until they’re all gone. I know this to be untrue as I’ve seen the beans snd other foods be replenished when low. The food is suppose to look appealing to the customer not like they’re getting the last bit. That’s why it’s in the front for ppl to see to look appetizing and fresh. She should know this working in food service and at this particular restaurant. I found her attitude to be rude and non accommodating to the customer who’s paying their hard earned money for good service and fresh food that she failed to deliver. I had to get the pinto beans thst I’m not too fond of bc I refused to eat old beans that probably hasn’t been replenished since lunch time. This lady should be coached and understand she’s in a business to serve it is not about her and her wants. I’m very dissatisfied and will complain to the corporate office as well. Nobody wants the last bit of anything and she should not force that...
