This place was a lifesaver for me, so much I went twice in a row. My husband and I had no electricity due to Hurricane Helene and this place was so accommodating and welcoming. The service I was given by Lesly was wonderful and she was very compassionate despite how busy they were. Mr. Edgar was our server the following day and he was great as well. Speaking to them made us forget about the troubles we all were experiencing, seems like nobody there had electricity either. Kuddos to the staff for being there and working to give most if not all of us good warm meals despite them not having warm meals at home either. The young lady at the register was very sweet and handled herself well despite having a lot of customers wanting to cash out with her. I will definitely be coming back to visit this nice hidden gem. The food was absolutely delicious and they even had a breakfast bar! The restaurant is very nice and very clean as well. They have Coke Zero which makes my heart happy as well. The big breakfast is the way to go! All in all, thank you Sunrise...
Read moreI visited this place for brunch with my girl. My girl asked if about the salad bar, and the waitress said they didn't have a salad. My girl said that they do have one during the week. The waitress replied there wasn't one. I asked her to ask her manager. she was wrong, and she apologized. No harm, no foul. Then, I asked for a tuna melt, so she asked her manager. He said no, so I said, "Can I get your tuna sandwich (on the menu) but toast the bread with cheese?" The manager said no because they are a franchise, and they would have to do that at every location, so I just ordered fries. My girl ordered a burger. I feel that was a trash reason not to heat the tuna sandwich. I would accept no for fish...
Read moreWe are regulars at the sunrise cafe in Savannah off Chatham PKWY. But we wanted to try here since we come all the way from Pembroke. We won’t be returning. Our waitress never came to check if we needed anything even though she passed by plenty of times and asked the table in front of us multiple times. We waited around 10 minutes before anyone even came to take our order. The food was not as good as it is in Savannah. The gravy was very sloppy and had no taste. They hardly had anything in breakfast buffet and waited a while to put more out. If you can just go to the one in Savannah. The waiters and waitress are ALWAYS friendly! And the food is always hot & delicious!! It’s definitely more family...
