Food is great but the service is HORRIBLE! I came in and stood at the hostess stand 2 minutes. In those two minutes NO ONE greeted me or acknowledged that o was there. Went to sit at the bar since no one came to the stand. I sat at the bar five minutes before anyone even came over. When someone did come over they didn’t acknowledge then. They went over to the register and answered the phone. After being at the bar almost ten minutes and telling the person I was on the phone with that I was going leave the lady finally came over to me. She came with an attitude like I was inconveniencing her. Ordered a water for now then ordered my food. After ordering my food I ordered my drink. Once she brought my drink and food I NEVER saw her again. Another lady lady came behind the bar and geeeted two ladies sitting on the other side of the bar and never said anything to me. She left and a gentleman came behind the bar. He came on the side I was sitting and never acknowledged me. He left and the Second Lady came back and fixed drinks took Togo orders and whatnot. Stood directly in front of me and still never acknowledged me. She collected my plate and never said anything to me. I wanted 10 more minutes after she collected my plate she finally asked could she get me anything. I asked for the ticket and paid my bill. Tonight was a very busy night, daughter and I we seated in a corner in the back near a cashier register. No one has to come our table. we are accustomed to receiving chips And salsa immediately after we are seated. However, after about 15 minutes still no salsa no one had taken our drink order or even acknowledge that we were there. Along comes Justin he did not have our table but somehow he realized that we would not be an assistant, he asked how we been helped I told him now he apologized which was weird because he was not responsible for a table. He went to inquire about our order and again came back to give us follow-up information. Justin was kind, empathetic, and had the upmost experience in customer service. We did get our drink order at the Justin spoke with the manager Jared. Again apologizing profusely for us being ignored. I don’t think that it was done on purpose the place was just really really busy. I am so touched that Justin cared enough to inquire. He is the best thing that has happened to jalapeños on Morgan’s corner in a very long time. Thank you Justin for reaching out when you did not have to. We love jalapeños and will continue to patronize the business. But let’s be clear Justin is one of the main reasons why we were returned. Jared give this guy a raise and make him your assistant manager. Overall the entire staff at jalapeños is wonderful but qthere’s just something special...

Went there with some friends and ordered some shrimp tacos. The wait staff was very friendly at first, very thorough, making sure we knew what all was on each thing that we ordered and what came with each meal. Everything was pretty fine until the food came out. All of the orders were wrong, 2 had toppings on them that we did not want, 1 was missing toppings, and mine was just the wrong thing (a shrimp quesadilla). I let the server know, and he took mine back along with everyone else's. Normally this wouldn't be a problem, it happens sometimes. Then, our waitress from earlier comes over and let's me know that "Earlier I had ordered a shrimp quesadilla and then old them I wanted shrimp tacos when they brought it out." My friends all heard me say taco, but I had to tell the waitress again and deal with her being condescending towards me. I understand that nobody likes to be wrong, but this made me incredibly uncomfortable that I had to explain myself and she assumed I was lying to her. I cancelled my order when she came by again, and she only apologized when she brought out the checks, not the other times that she checked up on us between the messing up and the checks being delivered. Overall, the wait staff was pretty dang rude and I don't think I'll be going there again. I also find their menu lacking, but that's not the wait...
