The Ice Cream Stop — Restaurant in Pooler

We came here because we have been there a few times and always had great service tonight was the complete opposite. When we walked in all of the employees were leaning over talking. They didn't greet us at all, and then when we went up to order the ice cream they all started looking at one another and then one of the males turned around looked turned his head back looked at one of his female coworkers she started laughing. He then dropped his head and went to wash his hands to come service us. At that point my husband and myself felt the vibe was off and then decided to leave. Very unprofessional and I work in customer service. They then said well okay then have a nice night. I don't know about you, but I do not want to spend my money in a place where I do not feel welcomed. We walked out and then another group came in and they all stood up and greeted them. We got completely ripped off. My daughter and I ordered Dole Whip but instead of letting us know they ran out and offering something else, they proceeded to give us one full size and one 1/4 size but same price of course. When questioned, the girl tried to cover it up by saying it’s just really expensive. I don’t care how much it is, just give me the correct amount. The picture is after I asked them to just put it in a Togo cup because we were not going to stay. It’s a 4oz cup. I paid $4.50 for that. My husband ordered a scoop of black cherry and a scoop of strawberry cheesecake, first they put it in a warm glass cup, ice cream, in a warm glass. Yah, it melted instantly. He had 1 half of a cherry piece and no cheesecake pieces. We go there specifically because they have chunks of stuff in their ice cream and Dole Whip. This place is absofreakinglutely INCREDIBLE!!!! My boyfriend and I were on vacation in Savannah. We wanted ice cream and Google places around us. We'll we ended up visiting another time before we had to go home because the ice cream so so good here!!! I am a coffee lover and this place had me covered! I highly recommend the Caramel Macchiato!
