UPDATE : I appreciate the team of Green Fire Pizza for making it right. The owner Russel was very professional on how he dealt with the situation. The food was a lot better and the service has improved ! I am giving a 5 star because I am impress with how they handle the situation, they were able to fix the mistake and they kept their promise of making sure we get better service the second time around. I will definitely be back again. Thank You. - PAST REVIEW - ( ISSUE RESOLVED ) I place a Pick Up order on their website on August 23 11:00am. I called to ask why is the available pick up is at 12pm and I was told by the guy who is incharge of the pickup/togo order because they just opened at 11am and are still preparing. So I said oh Okay that make sense. I completely understand. My husband went and pickup our order at 12:05pm. Got there and the staff said to my husband my order is not in their system only after 10mins of going back and forth the guy finally found the order and apologize they missed it and would need 15mins to make our order. Us being understanding , mistakes happens okay. we said thats fine. my husband then went back to his car (instead og giving them 15mins like they promise we gave them 20mins just incase they needed extra time because it seems there was only 1 kitchen staff and 2 floor staff) my husband went back in after 20mins. . Guy went to the kitchen and the kitchen staff look confuse turns out the floor staff didnt inform the kitchen AND AGAIN THEY NEVER MADE OUR ORDER YET .. So the staff had to manually input our order from one screen to a different screen *which we found odd* but sure whatever fixes the issue he said okay now this time 10 minutes. At this point my we have been waiting total 2 hours one for when we place the order and one at their location because they keep making mistakes of not making our order. Finally after 2 hrs and 15 mins our food was ready. brought it home. And what do you know. THEY MESSED UP our order ! Baked Ziti (NO CHICKEN that we paid extra $3 for) and our piza seem was cooked rush a lot of burnt area. I decided to call again I Asked to speak to the owner, supervisor, manager .. who ever is available. I thought give them chance to fix it. the floor staff said owner is in a meeting i said okay please have someone call me back. I got a call back from the bar tender. I told him the issue he seem to not be paying attention to what Im saying and just apologize and told me he will talk to the owner and see what can be done and expect a call if not today the next day. I gave 3 days to reach out to me nothing no call. I decided to leave a message on their facebook page and give an extra day. still nothing no one reaching out. From August 23 to August 27 5 days no one made an effort to reach out. Such a horrible Small Business Practice.

On the advice of a friend we went to Green Fire because I have always wondered about it, now I am kicking myself for not going sooner. We came in as the owner(Russell)was on his way in and he greeted us and told us to sit where we wanted. The atmosphere was cool, there is full length glass looking into the kitchen and good music playing. There is a full bar on one side with some seating then the restaurant is on the other side. The bar has a great selection of beer, the owner likes his stouts so there was a real good selection of them. When I was making my choices our waitress(Abby) even brought me a small sample of one I was thinking of getting. We ordered the Caprese Heirloom tomato salad that came with large chunks of tomatoes, large chunks of mozzarella and whole basil leaves(which you never see). I also ordered the cheezy bread, it came out and was like no other we have had. The "cheese pull" was fantastic, the fresh in house made marinara sauce that came with it was amazing. I ordered "The Real Deal" pizza and of all the local pizza's I've tried this is the best hands down. My wife ordered a NY style with mushrooms and pepperoni, you can tell by the picture that it is loaded with mushrooms and plenty of pepperoni. The food was incredible but what came next was the cool part. The chef came out of the kitchen and came to our table after I was raving about the food, he gave us a little background, told us about how the dough is all fresh in house and he makes all the sandwich bread in house as well. Next the owner stopped by, asked to sit with us and told us all about his place and how he got started. Russell cares about the food that he puts out, he is particular on how his pizza dough is made(right down to temperatures), he goes all over looking for the freshest ingredients for all of his house made sauces. He even informed me about one of the cheeses that he uses that I haven't heard of in this area. My friend told me about the wings and said they were the best he has ever had so when Russell asked if we tried them and said no he went and had some made for us to try. I love my wings, I love different sauces but those wings were plain(except for his special spice mix) and I would eat those plain like that any time. I know this is a long review but it still does not do the whole experience justice. Russell has a passion for food, has a passion for ingredients and a passion to bring the best experience he can. If you are looking for a cheap pizza joint that just mass produces everything then this is not your place. If you enjoy what you eat and don't mind paying a little more for it then this is your place. If you haven't been to Green Fire it is the best dining experience in Pooler hands down.

GREEN FIRE PIZZA - WHY and WHY NOT!! I consider myself a very selective/critic person yet very flexible in terms of places I visit and trying new things, in order to have a Fact-Based Personal opinion.  I ain't rich, and I don't drink alcohol. I call out what I like as what I don't like... if you don't like it, life goes on! Now you know a bit about me. Back in mid October 2020, I was invited to join a friend for Trivia Nights at a place called Green Fire Pizza on a Wednesday night, (Yes, all Wednesdays are Trivia Nights 7pm-9pm with $uprises), I thought meh, pizza bar, I don't drink, I don't know anybody, I'm bored... okey, I'll go. So here is WHY: 1. Great Vibe, Family friendly, Super Clean, COVID Oriented, You Feel better just by walking through the door, you can tell they took their time on the details. 2. Vast selection for those who drink and there is a bite for every appetite, from Super Salads to the Calabrian Chile pepper sauce from the Diavolo pizza. (just a little kick) :-) 3. Care-taking Service, they will make sure you are happy, leave happy and come back happier. (whether it's dining-in or take-out) 4. Perfect place to get away from any stress and just have a good time 5. Food it's off the charts in my book.  It will change the way you have been seeing Pizza and every selection on the menu will taste as good or better as the first one. My Favorites? Chicken Pesto Pizza/Panini and the Lemon Pepper chicken wings with a twist of garlic butter on that fabulous brick oven!!! AAA-Mazing! Oh, Did I mentioned they have Desserts? 6. In case you think I'm exaggerating, just go and stand in front of the Kitchen, Yes, you can see the whole process through the glass while asking yourself; Where do they get all this Flavors? (BTW if you paid $30 for a Pizza that's on you! RTFM) 7. Maybe the most important for many, The All Inclusive, Housewarming, Non-discriminating, Lounge Profile Bathrooms with actual hand soap and not that foamy, stinky fake soap. The Best I've seen by far, Definitely A++8. Lastly, the Best asset... it's You, the people, the customers, the friends, the families. Now... WHY NOT: 1. Why Not Try it!!!??? Here are some pics of my experiences, I can be a lot of things, Liar is not one of them! That night I was impressed, and I've been going since. When you go there, and I know you will, Don't be surprised... cuz I told you so! ;-) Enjoy and say hello to Russell for me!

I tried to eat here with a group the other evening, and had a really, really bad experience.

Part of my group had arrived before we had the chance to, and therefore placed an order before we got there. When we did arrive, we sat down and waited for the waitress to come and greet us. We got no response for 15+ minutes, so my husband and I went inside the bar area to see if we could place an order at the bar. The waitress saw us and told us to go "sit down" outside and she would be with us soon.

She finally came over and took our order. We ordered two drinks, a water, and a medium pepperoni pizza. We were asked if we wanted new york style or neopolitan. My assumption was that they meant two different styles of pizza, akin to New York vs Chicago. I understand this was a stupid mistake on our part for not understanding that it wasn't two different styles of pizza, but we honestly were just confused and wanted to eat after waiting for so long. We just replied "new york" assuming that it would just be a standard pepperoni pizza, like we had wanted.

She brought over our drinks after quite some time but she forgot the water. She left before I had a chance to remind her about the glass of water and I assumed she would come soon enough and I could ask again then.

She eventually brought over the pizza for the other part of our group after what they said was over 45 minutes of waiting. I asked for some water again, and she rushed off, assuring it would come soon. They ate two slices of the pizza and were sad to report it was not good and had no flavor. After waiting for some more time, a member of the group we were in went inside to get some hot sauce, or something to spruce up the pizza flavor a bit and actually bring me my water I had asked for multiple times at this point.

Before our pizza ever comes out, we hear multiple conversations of patrons around us being displeased, frustrated, and angry at the state of service they were receiving. The waitress at one point stood on a stool and shouted to ask if everyone was okay or needed anything. I tried to ask about the status of my pizza at this point (as it had been a very long time) and she said loudly over me while I was talking, that "Your pizza is going to be a while" and then walked off.

We finally get our pizza (we never got a water from the waitress) and, it's not a pepperoni pizza. But again, she rushes off before I have a chance to mention it and have it taken back. So we wait with the rest of our party for about 10-15 more minutes, waiting for anyone that is working there to come near our table so I can just ask for the check and get out of there and eat elsewhere. We flag down (who I assume is) the manager, and he takes it back and brings back the waitress. They take the pizza off the bill thankfully, and we all go on our way. My husband and I end up eating at Mellow Mushroom down the street at almost 9:00 PM because it's all we can find on short notice. We would have much rather gone to a local place, but we were just so frustrated and disheartened by the entire experience we just wanted to leave downtown.

I totally understand staffing issues (and based on the owners replies, it seems that they are suffering from those), but I truly felt unwelcome and had just a really bad experience here. Leaving a good review would feel disingenuous and I'm only giving 2 starts because we never fully ate a meal there (although the slice of the pizza part of our group had was not good, as reported). I suggest the owner finds...

Alanna is hands down THE WORST server I have ever had. Eddie, who claims to be the manger is also a volatile man. These two individuals have created an unwelcoming and hostile environment at this bar. Horrible attitude from the moment she came into work and continued to take her problems out on all the customers that she deemed annoying for existing within her space. I breathed and she got mad. I stand and she gets mad. I move out of her way and she gets mad. I order and she gets mad. I paid and she still is extremely rude. Who wouldn’t have enough? I tired to apologize and speak with her, but she continues to push past me and I had finally had enough. I am human too, I had reached my limits. We’re just trying to enjoy our time together as a group but Alanna continued to be rude to not just one person in our group, not just two people in our group, but an ENTIRE group of FIFTEEN PAYING CUSTOMERS? I don’t know if management even cares considering they continue to keep Alanna knowing she’s horrible since this isnt the first incident either but I will most definitely not be coming back to this establishment. We tired to give them another chance this week but it’s just not worth it when you just KNOW for a FACT at this point your getting bad service as a GUARANTEE when coming to THIS bar but only from one individual?!?! Go find a different bar folks, Alanna doesn’t want you in her space and she’s made it clear to an entire group of paying customers that she doesn’t want us there or to come back even if your paying for pizza and playing pool all the way on the other side as not to get in her way. But she still got angry from a distance and came back to our side of the restaurant to cause problems even after we were out of her way and after we all signed the receipts. Sorry Alanna for trying to enjoy a night out at what we “thought” to be a nice and welcoming restaurant and bar, we will not be disturbing your peace again. Hope you have a wonderful day and things work out for you girl because all that attitude is really toxic. The only reason this post doesn’t get a one star review is because there were people there that were genuinely nice and accommodating, like the young lady up front by the pizza’s. She helped me find the bathroom, where to order, where to find the menu, and where to find utensils. Simple request, but she did it with grace and we appreciate it, Thankx. The pizza was really good, but the service isn’t worth it. I would of liked to try karaoke too, but never got the chance, they have their moments but they continue to disappoint time and time again. I do hope to save everyone time and a massive headache by warning them about the service. Past Google reviews themselves show that it’s a continuous issue and they are aware of it but don’t plan on resolving it so just go to Level Up pizza down the street or literally any other pizza...
