This is the only time I've been really disappointed with the quality of the food, the service, & the apps directions/info. It's very clear (to Dominos)...if they looked at my app ordering history...that I order the same thing about once a month, sometimes a little more often. Never complained once. My last order was sloppy, lava cakes were smooshed (I have pics), pizza was really messy...sloppy...too wet (forgot to take pics of it)...& there wasn't hardly any pineapple on it. The pizza bites were cold & really dry (seemed old) & didn't have hardly any salt on them. The pizza & the lava cakes weren't hot like they normally are either. (It was a nice night outside...it wasn't cold at all...so it can't be blamed on the weather or my travel time because I was next door to the pizza store location). I've ordered from many Dominos locations...in numerous states...rarely the same one twice. I usually order delivery, this time I picked up. The consistent quality I'm used to getting isn't just from one or two locations... it's all over the place. This was the 1st (and only) time I've ordered from this location. I'm not sure if this location has a history of issues or not..? *Also, the app told me my order was complete so I got in the drive thru line, waited a couple minutes, & was informed by the guy at the window my order wasn't done. I showed him the app saying it was done...(I could see my lava cakes & pretzel bites...in their boxes...laying on the counter). He told me my pizza just went into the oven......?!? Huh? Why did the app tell me to come pick up my order if my pizza wasn't even in the oven yet? He told me to park in the pick-up area & they'd bring my order to me as soon as the pizza was done. I parked & waited about 20 min...no one ever came. I drove around to the window again & my order is just sitting on the counter. No one ever brought it out to me. Read moreAfter placing my order on the app at 12:21pm, my only choices for scheduling a pick up time was, "now" or 1:15pm, 1:30pm, etc... so I waited until 1:15pm to pick up my order. Pulled up to the drive thru (as was my choice on the app). I then waited. There was an employee outside smoking when I pulled up. Surely he knows that I'm here... and I waited. Finally he came in from his break and answered the phone. So I waited... I watch other customers pull in, park, walk into the building and be helped while I wait... I try honking. I try knocking on the window... but I am just ignored and I wait... I finally decided to drive around and park and walk inside and be helped in person. Why is the drive thru an option on the app if someone who chooses that option is ignored? Some people only get so much time on their lunch break. I am one of those people. Poplar Bluff Domino's Pizza customer service skills made me late getting back from lunch. Thanks Domino's employees! There is a lot of technology out there. Read moreEvery time we get delivery, we choose the no contact & we will leave a request saying to please leave on porch & to not knock due to baby sleeping. The last few times we have ordered, the driver will just keep knocking on the door until we answer. This last time, the driver knocked and then just left with the pizza. I had assumed he left it outside but it wasn’t out there! We called the store & the employee said we had to wait for the driver to make the rest of his stops & go all the way back to the store before she can tell him to come back to our house. The pizza will be ice cold by time we get it!
EDIT: we finally got our pizza. The driver barely knocked on the door. The employee that we spoke with on the phone said that he would just drop it off. We waited to see if he would leave it. He was just going to take it back with him to the store. We opened the door to stop him and the driver immediately got an attitude. We told him that we did select no contact and he claims the store does not offer no contact and they require a signature from every customer. I don’t know if that if true or what.
