Krabby Daddy's Poplar Bluff — Restaurant in Poplar Bluff

This was the worst dining experience ever and I won’t be back. The meal was $50 for all you could eat crab legs and sides. The crab legs were small with little meat to them. For sides I asked for French fries and Mac and cheese. The fries were cold and the Mac and cheese…. It was so bad I was embarrassed for them. Photo attached…. It was literally box Mac and cheese. Some you get for $1 at a grocery store. It wasn’t fresh and it had obviously been sitting for a while. We decided to get a bowl of the gumbo. Someone made some minute rice, through in smoked sausage and poured some instant brown gravy over that and called it gumbo. It was inedible. We asked for some more shrimp and they had run out.

Service was also terrible. We walked in to a sign asking us to wait to be seated and was told to take any table we liked. There were no truly clean empty tables. We sat down and it was 25 minutes before anyone came up to take a drink order or even acknowledge us. I was about to walk out. Honestly wish we had. They took our order and about 10 minutes later cleaned the table able bringing our drinks and getting our order. About 30 minutes later, we finally got the cold food.

3 stars because the food is great! Our server was very kind. However, it took over 30 min for someone to take our order after we had been sat down due to miscommunication between servers. Then another 45 min for food to come out. Our poor server was running all over, trying to get everything done she could while one other server stood around and talked more than she waited tables or helped out the other servers. It was incredibly sad to watch. Food sat in the window getting cold, and instead of helping, she would whip her long hair around and walk by it or just look at it from where she was standing and talking. Today, September 7th we went in to grab some lunch. Sat at the table for a few, got our drinks…then the wait started for what seemed to be like the curly haired guy waiter and the long dark haired chick arguing over who’s going to take our order. There were 4 of us. We knew exactly what we wanted. The wait and waiting those two waiters argue over who’s going to take our order really left a terrible taste about this place. I would avoid. It needs management take over, it needs better menus. They didn’t have chicken strips today and the long haired chick didn’t even know what day it was when we she finally decided to come take our order. Terrible service. Terrible place.
