I would have given it two stars for overall experience, but there was just too much bad (especially near the end) that I couldn't get myself to do it. My dad and I used to go out for dinner there. After 3 food-poisonings, we stopped. Like many mentioned, the carpet and tables were filthy, the service was poor unless you tip them well (my dad would leave $5 each time, so the waitress would always fight to get our table...), sometimes the pizza was great, other times it was so greasy and old that your hands got wet from touching the dough, and you could see big patches torn out of it (maybe got stuck on the sheet, who knows). Really would have loved to have taken a picture of that to show my proof... Anyways, there would be advertisements of getting a discount on pizzas in all Pizza Huts, but the manager in this one refused to give any; claiming this one doesn't do discounts and it's only "Pizza Huts in certain locations" that do it. Several times, I had myself a Pepperoni-Lovers pizza which, on their table, was advertised to have 80 pepperonis on it. There were less than 20. After us showing that and telling them that, they made another which had slightly over 20 pepperonis. They said "Oh, it's hidden under the cheese!" even though they were not. But like mentioned before, we got actually sick 3 times before my dad finally didn't want to go out there anymore. Despite that, after over a year, he would bring home another one of their pizzas to give them another shot, hoping maybe they had changed, just for us both to get sick again and vomit it up. The last pizza we had there tasted funky... As in, the dough was sour, falling apart, and they put a lot of Parmesan cheese on it to cover the weird flavor, and it didn't even taste like a pizza from Pizza Hut. It's really a gamble, but I honestly fear for your health if you visit that place. Go anywhere else, the restaurants in Poplar Bluff are of poor quality with idiotic and rude staff. I really love Pizza Hut, but I will never recommend this one, ever. Go to Cape Giradeau or somewhere else. The one in Cape does have rude waitresses, but hey, it tastes like Pizza Hut and I never had to ask for refills! Sorry for how long the review got, but I always wanted to get this off my chest. And no, we didn't just go 1 time, or 10 times, we went there for over a year, and about half of the time the experience was bad. The 3 food poisonings happened all near the end, when they must have hired worse kitchen staff or tried to save more money by using expired dough. Thank you...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreHorrible service when called in to tell them they messed up our food and refused to fix it. Our pepperoni pizza was overcooked and had very little sauce. My ham, banana pepper, and extra mushrooms pizza had maybe 5 mushrooms on the entire pizza and no sauce at all and was like cardboard. And our meatball and onion cheesy bites pizza had very little sauce but the kids didn't seem to mind much. But after paying out $50 for 3 pizzas and refusing to fix it the same night that try to give me an $8 credit for the "mushrooms and sauce" and when I said that's 2 whole pizzas that we won't really eat he says "well I can give u $15" mind u I had already told him I could barely hear him over the background noise and he seemed little rude after telling him that and when he asked about the receipt I told him she didn't give us one he didn't seem to like that either and I told him we order on the app but pretty sure after our last few experiences with them and especially tonight we won't be using them again and it deeply saddens me because I usually love their pizza and my kids love their meatball pizza. They need better service and cooks but I do have to say that they lady that delivered our pizza...
Ā Ā Ā Read morePizzaHut used to be the best pizza around. Tonight I had the worst pizza I ever had there. It was so overcooked it was like rubber but too tired to take it back and they couldn't even give me the right change. The ticket was rang up right $8.61 and I gave them $10.61, expecting $2 back. He finally came back to the window with a dollar and a little bit of change. I told him it wasn't right and he said the pizza was over $9. I explained to him and he left and finally another guy came back. They put the wrong amount I paid in I realized because the ticket showed it. The last guy told me that he wasn't messing his till up and he didn't care about that I owed them money, which they owed me $2. He had 2 and some change and I told him I only wanted my $2 so when I took the money, he dumped the money off of the pizza box onto the ground, handed me my pizza which was also cold. He was rude and said he couldn't count money that well anyway. It appeared to have been an earlier pizza someone hadn't come for. It was like cardboard and tasteless. He told me 25 minutes when I ordered and I was there in 25 minutes. Sorry to complain but it...
