Pizza Inn — Restaurant in Poplar Bluff

This place went down hill... I been living in Poplar bluff mo all my life and this place i went to a lot. Heck I practically grow up here. But recently the service for a past year has been appalling. You first walk in and find a seat then wait to get waited on. But most of the time you have to flagged someone down. But today no one waited on us... there was only 8 plus me and my dad in the building hardly busy. It took me and my dad a minute to find a seat because all of them are usually dirty. But when we did we sat and waited for 20min before my dad flagged someone there was two girls who was walking around looking at tables and checking on the other 8 people and completely walk around us. One looked and smile at us then walk past us. That when me and my dad got up and left. Of course my dad wanted to speak with the owner of the place about our experience and the owner responded very poor by saying "I'm sorry to here that" and thats it didn't correct the issue just smile and wavy as if it wasn't his problem... That what happened today. But we have had other experiences like this one. Like being ignored on refills, seating and waiting for like 30 min tops. Then the buffet bar small as it is hard ever have any food on it. Waitresses getting mad at not being tiped or being tip so little (that probably why we got ignored). The list goes on! But today was the last disappointment... we highly recommend you go somewhere else, no matter how good the deal might be, please go somewhere else... the owner don't care and the Waitresses only care about how much you got and that is all. This place is a sad disappointment,...

Used to be one of our favored places to go. This last visit has us on the unfavorable side. Our waitress only came back once, said she would refill my son's and boyfriend's drinks then never came back. My son is only 9 so he is still only liking the pepperoni pizza or cheese and neither made it to the buffet in the 45 minutes we were there. When we went to pay our check, which was left at our table even before our drinks came, the woman asked how our visit was. We told her we didn't enjoy it and she replied with our server had four other tables ( which we seen her at as they were in the same section we were in.) When we told her we knew and seen her mostly hanging around talking to the table with a few young men. She said well you seen she was busy. When we told her of the pizza type we had hoped and thought they would have as they were a favored choice of a lot. She replied with how busy they were while watching five people standing behind her talking and laughing. As we finished paying she told us that maybe we will have a good day soon. That was our what the moment, Joseph wanted to talk to a manager and asked for one. We were told it would be a ten minute wait as he was very busy. And instead of going to let him know she turned around and joined in the conversation the ones behind her were having. We left, and probably won't be back for a while if this is how the service is acceptable to...

We called the pizza inn and asked if we could have food served at our table for the buffet and the employee stated yes. After we started eating the manager Chris Ellis came to the table and told us we would have to pay for any pizza brought to the table. I explained that I had a low immune system and I could not be at the buffet. He stated that his employee was wrong and that he would be charging us for the pizza. HE WAS VERY RUDE AND HATEFUL!!! We asked about the owner and he stated that he ran the business and the owner was hardly ever there and he had full authority to do anything he wanted to. When we asked about speaking to the owner he stated that we could not speak to him. We asked for the owners phone number or if he could have the owner call us he stated no. After he continued to be rude my grown son stated if your mom was here and someone was talking to her the way you are talking to my mom you would be very upset. After my son stated this Chris Ellis told us to leave HIS establishment or he would call the police. WE PAID FULL PRICE FOR 5 BUFFETS AND WE WERE ALLOWED TO HAVE ONE LARGE PIZZA AND 1 SMALL CHEESE PIZZA WE DID NOT EVEN GET ANY DESSERT. I NOT RECOMMENDED ANYONE ATE AT THIS PIZZA INN IN POPLAR BLUFF.
