I ordered a 400 dollar catered lunch for delivery from this place. The food was delivered with no chips (I ordered 20 bags) and short 4 sodas no napkins no condiments. The food wasn't set up. It was dumped by a table. When I called the store the lady that answered was confrontational. I was told they didn't have a driver so they weren't going to deliver my missing items. She started arguing with me about the sodas saying she'd counted them herself and implying that I was lying. She hung up the phone on me. I drove 15 minutes to the store to pick up my items. When I arrived I was met by an angry looking lady, the one I talked to on the phone. She gave me chips in a bag. I asked for napkins. She threw a bunch in the bag. I asked for the sodas. She said that she wasn't going to give me the missing 4 sodas. She said I was lying. She wrote a number down on a receipt and said you need to call the owner. I took chips and started on the 15 minute drive back to where the lunch was. I called the owner. He's one of those fake polite people who wants to argue with you and tell you how you are wrong. He did eventually apologize for the chips but wouldn't resolve the sodas. He likes to call you sir and talks in circles. I thanked him and got off the phone. He should have gotten in his car and driven the chips and 4 sodas to where I was at and apologized. But this guy doesn't care. He made me do the driving after I paid a 30 dollar delivery fee and tipped another 30 dollars. Seriously? Yes. That's how this guy rolls. So all in all a very unpleasant experience. The owner behaved in a mean, shady, and condescending way. just like his staff. In the end ezcater who I placed the order through did the right thing. They refunded the delivery fee, the tip, the cost of the chips and the sodas. The owner did nothing. He kept all my money even though he did not fulfil our agreement. Read moreI recently visited this establishment to order three sandwiches. Unfortunately, my experience was disappointing due to the unfriendly demeanor of the staff member preparing my order. Specifically, the young lady cutting the deli meat seemed preoccupied and annoyed, didn't listen attentively to my requests, which I had to go back in line since she decided to move onto the guest behind me before I was finished with my order.
When I asked her to cut my sandwich on the back slicer for the veggie option, she appeared too busy and didn't accommodate my request. Furthermore, when I inquired about the status of my sandwich, she rudely informed me that she had already made it and proceeded to remove the cheese from the existing sandwich with her hand instead of preparing a new one..
What was equally concerning was that the manager, a young gentleman, stood by and observed the interaction without intervening. He stood between the staff members, looking unclear on how to address the situation.
Ultimately, I left without receiving satisfactory service and ended up going to Wawa down the street, where I was able to get a sandwich prepared to my liking.
I hope that in the future, the staff will be more attentive and courteous to customers. A simple gesture like remaking a sandwich to meet a customer's request can go a long way in ensuring a positive experience. The person at the store told me they could refund me for the one sandwich I did not receive. I said that was perfectly fine. They said it was refunded. A week later I checked my account and I was still charged the full amount, and I was not credited for the one sandwich. I saw the night it happened I was charged the full amount but I gave it time for the refund. I was about to order again but I checked my account before I did and still no refund. I called the store and asked for the manager. She said she would call me back and took all the information. My name the date and time and what sandwich was missing. She never called me back.
