Iâve always wanted to try this place out because they hyped up the kids area and how wonderful it is for moms. My first impression when I walked in is how nicely decorated the inside was. Then I got to look at the menu and instantly panicked. Everything felt a little overpriced for what youâre getting. As a one income family and a stay-at-home mom, I just need somewhere affordable for my kids and myself whilst enjoying some play time outside of our home. I was shocked to find out that ordering one bacon, egg and cheese from a âKIDS MENUâ cost me $10.30, a bagel with cream cheese cost me almost $5, and a small mason jar of iced coffee cost me almost $8. And with taxes plus tips, these 3 items cost me about $30!!! 𫨠Thatâs INSANE!
Lastly, the kids play area was crowded with very disruptive kids and no parental supervision!!! Specifically this one mom who had the audacity to yell at another kid when HER kid was the one being disrespectful, damaging toys, and taking things away from other kids. Unbelievable. Also, how often do the toys get sanitized?! I hope once day at least! There were kids coughing all over the toys and parents donât care getting others sick. I left the place feeling gross and overwhelmed.
I wish I could give this place a better review⌠maybe thatâs why theyâre struggling to keep this place open. Focus on cleanliness and prices and maybe youâll attract more families and moms who can afford a bagel and cup of coffee for...
Read moreAddendum: I truly appreciate the well worded yet candid reply from the owner. The newer employee may have had an 'off' day as my friend also had a smaller-than-expected salad, and with way too many cranberries. Nothing better than excellent customer service when being questioned by your customer. Will certainly return. Thank you!
Small cafe with a few indoor and 3 outdoor tables. WiFi available. Order and pay at the counter and they'll bring the order to you when ready. Nicely decorated, relaxing chill theme.
Plenty of tea and coffee options. I did see a couple non-coffee options, such as lemonade. Decent amount of food options, including a few gluten-free and vegan options. The corn salad I ordered was a smaller portion than expected. It was light, fresh, flavorful, and perfect for this hot weather. The iced latte was not as strong as I like, and I probably should have ordered a flavor. Just seemed too simple tasting. Coffee prices comparable to Starbucks. They offer non-dairy milk for an upcharge. They also offer a couple flavors for an upcharge, such as vanilla and lavender.
Prices for food were high. I will likely return to try other coffee or tea options. I do love a London Fog and I saw that on the menu. But will not return for lunch food. Not worth the prices. My salad was $9.50 and I left still hungry. (Their website does advertise as having light fare, so I did know this...
Read more4.1âď¸ Cute little cafe. Lots of seating inside and a small play area for kids, away from the register. And I like how itâs decorated inside. I got the donut holes and Blueberry pancake latte, both were good. Donut holes are SUPER RICH, You only need like 1 or 2 max. The latte didnât taste how I thought a blueberry pancake latte would taste, but it was still good. One Friend got the Cappuccino & Persnickety Avocado toast. She said the toast is great, just wishes they gave at least 1 more slice of lemon with it. She also said the cappuccino was good, but just wishes she could get it in a larger size. Other friend got the Serene Bee Latte & Colossal Breakfast Burrito. She said the latte was good, and that the burrito wasnât bad, but was lacking flavor. And no one wants a bland burrito. Especially if itâs colossal. And they both did wait quite a while for their food, I think they forgot about them honestly. But to be fair, I think 1-2 of the people working were new employees still getting the hang of things. So we understood. Personally, I only get coffee and pastries at coffee places, so I donât want to rate them harshly on their food. Overall, good service, and great spot for coffee! Would...
