Jimmy John's — Restaurant in Poquoson

Why isn't anyone driving through this place ordering sandwiches??!! This is the only place that actually bakes fresh bread and does not have that horrible chemical in their bread like Subway. I can actually eat the white bread without my glucose spiking and feeling sick. I'm only talking about the bread...well, the sandwiches are phenomenal. The veggie #6 is my most favorite. It's the only place in the 757 I know that serves a sandwich with depth and gorgeous taste. They work fast, too, and it's not necessary because I would wait because their sandwiches are phenomenal. This particular Jimmy John's on J Clyde is really the best one. I hope you all have a chance to go by and order your favorite sandwich and see for yourself. The staff are friendly too. It's seriously a hidden gem. It's such a pleasant experience, and I get so happy eating my veggie...

This is my first time eating here I ordered the toasted chicken, bacon ranch sub with a side of potato salad and a lemonade. My total came to about $18. I can’t really say that I enjoyed the sub or the potato salad and not to mention the lemonade was sour. I mean, overly sour like bitter And unfresh. The potatoes in the potato salad were undercooked. The potatoes had a gritty like texture. The sub wasn’t entirely horrible. I just don’t care for the taste of the chicken. It kinda tasted canned. I’m definitely open to revisiting this restaurant. Ordered a giant sandwich with no mayo right before closing. Customer service was lacking because they were arguing about getting online orders in store. Get home, a quarter of the sandwich had no mayo, and it was great. Then the rest was covered in a ridiculous amount of mayo. Really Jimmy John's, just messed up dinner. Since they were closed, not able to get the issue corrected. Straight fail. Unfortunately you can't trust the person that takes your order at Jommy John's.
