With the unfortunate passing of Mona (RIP) I was forced to find another Korean food place. We are super picky about our Korean food luckily Sorabol passed our finicky taste buds. My husband is a Galbi fan and he was slightly underwhelming when asked if he liked it. "It was fine". He ate it all. He didn't care for the choices of banchan but I believe they change them often. My son and I looved the yellow pickled radish. They didn't serve the sweet pickled radish that I like, mu saengchae. But they may have it. We ordered beef bulgogi. Delicious and tender. I think the problem my husband I both have is the lack of sauce on the meat. We could taste the flavor but we like a little sauciness. The kimbap was delicious. Served with a different dipping sauce than what we are used to. This was served with spicy paste. But makes no difference it was delicious and they were a pretty nice size. My favorite was the jjamppong, spicy seafood soup with the udon noodles. It was spicy and delicious and full of vegetables and seafood. Sooo good 🤌🏽 We ordered for take out and everything was packaged nicely, no spillage. Will definitely order again. The photos are leftovers from the next day. But shows the lack of sauce.

A great experience every visit. This is the only place I will get gimbap from when I'm feeling too lazy to make my own. The beef boolgogi is spot on, deliciously prepared and takes me right back to my childhood in Korea. Spicy pork boolgogi is just the right amount of hot. The jjigae is great too if you're feeling something a little more traditional. The only thing I could think to complain about is the chicken boolgogi isn't cut up and requires a knife. Atypical for Korean food where everything is usually served in bite-size pieces. Also the mandu is okay, but not great. How to know it's a legit Korean restaurant? Staff is peeling REAL garlic in their downtime. No paste or Chinese jail garlic here (it's a thing, look it up).

Quality: I've lived in Korea and this food was pretty spot on! Portions: I was impressed by the amount of food we got on most meals. I wish the fish dish was a bit bigger but nothing to really complain about. Price: They do NOT offer lunch portions on Sunday, make sure to pay attention to that on the menu. Standard prices for an international meal. Expect $15-30 a person. Environment: Looks like they do karaoke which is pretty cool. It's a regular quaint restaurant. No issues with anything. Service: I didn't go while it was busy but for lunch over the weekend the service was GREAT. Recommendation: Yes indeed. I'll return

Wanted to order foods togo. Called and no answer and i called again goes straight to voicemail. So i decided to go to the restaurant to order. Walked in the restaurant and they were busy. There were several tables. Told the lady i wanted to place an order and she had a smirk on the face and said we are busy so we weren't gonna take togo orders. So i said well if you answered and explained i would've not come. She said go ahead and order but it will take a very long time. I said it's okay im gonna wait. I said i want one seafood pancake and she smirks again saying now it's gonna take a really long time since im ordering a pancake so i asked her how long she goes over 40 minutes. So i said im gonna wait since i was there already. Next i said i want one Jjambong and there she goes smirks again. At that point i was so mad how she was treating a customer. If you can't take togo orders because you are busy or short staff just tell customer straight. I won't be going to this restaurant ever again. And will tell my friends don't go to...

I had the pleasure of dining at this Korean restaurant in Virginia, and I must say that it has quickly become one of my favorites. The attention to detail and commitment to freshness in their food is truly commendable. Every dish I tried was bursting with flavors and left me craving for more.

The service provided by my waitress was exceptional. She patiently answered all my questions about the menu and made excellent recommendations. Her attentiveness to my needs throughout the meal was highly appreciated and added to the overall dining experience.

For those who appreciate authentic and high-quality Korean cuisine, this restaurant is an absolute gem. From the moment you step in, you'll be transported to Korea with the aroma of delicious dishes and the warm ambiance. Whether you're a seasoned fan of Korean food or looking to explore new flavors, this is the perfect spot to satisfy...
