Jung Ha Oriental Market — Local services in Poquoson

Jung Ha is a beautiful store!

It is very organized, with good spacing for the aisles. I didn't feel cramped in there at all. The interior also looks really good. There was plenty of light, and the store is kept clean.

They have some ready-to-eat foods, which I thought was really neat (there was actually someone sitting in their car in the parking lot eating when we got there).

They had a few things there that have been out of stock at other Asian stores, so it was great to be able to get those again.

That said, it's not a huge store, so you may not be able to one-stop shop there.

But if you're looking for a place to check out or add to your list of go-to stores, Jung Ha is a great place to go.

ung Ha is a great little market that packs a powerful punch as far as the contents of food in this small setting. And when I say that, I don't mean that the products are jammed in there like you're in an episode of Hoarders.

When you first walk in, you notice the cash register/check out area to the left, lots of freezers past the check out area, and the first row to the right with lots of choices of rice and dried mushrooms. Throughout the store, all of the items are neatly stocked. There are a plethora of choices for frozen meat, spices, noodles, rice, cooking supplies, etc.

This is a family friendly mom and pop shop. The kimchi is really, really, really good and it’s also very crunchy and tastes fresh, it’s seasoned well too. You can tell that they have it on rotation very frequently. There’s also a wide selection of other types of pickled vegges, radishes, tofu, and marinated seafood. Prices are GREAT! Definitely 💯

My husband truly appreciated me taking him here; he said this was the best Asian grocery store he’s ever been to stateside. Thank you Jung Ha! I had to write you this review & I’ll be back again, especially when my kids and I need...
