KungFu Tea Port Charlotte — Restaurant in Port Charlotte

I would like to start out by saying. I don't drink Boba tea but my daughter loves it so I've been taking her to this location for the last couple year's and have always had a great experience. Today she begged me to take her so I agreed only if she paid out of her own money. I drove my 12 year old there to purchase herself a Boba tea. It smelled not great walking in kinda like old dish sponges that should have been tossed. The girl behind the counter wasn't very friendly. My daughter ordered and paid for her tea herself and after her order was ready she went up to the counter and made sure to say thank you and got zero response. A smile and your welcome goes a long way. I can't comment on the product but the place was dead and honestly if my kid weren't there I would have walked out and not ordered anything. As I walked in the store I was greeted nicely and my order was made and since my cashier was so nice I tipped. When received my drink I ordered a large honey milk green tea with 75 % sweetness and when I tasted my drink I’m sure it was sweetener then my usual order also I have received a medium instead of a large I have ordered so I decided to just ask for my correct order. My cashier was so sweet but the two mixer in the back working on the floor around 7:00pm Tuesday February 21 2023 was just absolutely distasteful. When asked for the correct order to be made again the mixers didn’t apologize at all ripped open my drink and poured it into a large cup and handed it to me that way. I like that their default sugar level, though 100%, is just sweet enough for my taste buds. I usually ask less sugar on my drinks, in other milk tea shops and in Starbucks. They use lactaid for their milk teas. I'm not lactose intollerant but it's very thoughful for people who are, who also want enjoy milk tea. I don't know if they have an option for a regular milk. Maybe I'll ask next time. They have A LOT of selections, sometimes I find it so hard to choose. So I always end up getting Cocoa Cream Wow. Lol! It's good. They need more weekend staff, or staff in general, not sure. We were there 4/30/22, we waited about 30 mins+ for our drinks.
