This was the worst interaction! I'm in town visiting my mom from Atlanta. My mom used my cc to purchase a order from Howies. While my mom ordered the meal I fell asleep. When I awoke my mom microwaved me a plate. While eating the meal I noticed a long strain of hair in the wings (not ethnically matching anyone in our house hold) After the long awkward moment of silence. I placed a call to store 00091 requesting to speak with the manager. After I revealed finding some hair in the wings. I asked were the cooks required to wear hair nets and she stated No. The female manager flipped the script. She accused me of lying. "You're not about to get a free meal. Why didn't you call sooner?" "It's been 3 hours sir, unfortunately it's past the time for a refund." " How do you know its not your hair?" "I know your kind." " Your not getting a refund" Then she hangs up in my face. Wow!!! I looked at my mom like what kind of pizza place did you order from? So after being disrespected in such a manner. I went to the restaurant, right after the phone call. Unfortunately when I arrived no one knew what manager I spoke with on the phone. The active manager Melanie K. claimed to just arrive on her shift. She had no recollection whom i spoke with on the phone 15 minutes ago, which was beyond me. She did say Jackie was on the shift before her. The energy was totally different when I arrived at the restaurant. She claims to have issued me a refund which will take 5-8 business days. I will no longer be in town. This was not the way I wanted to start my vacation. Thanks Hungry Howies. I will never, EVER order...

I ordered online with the app, mix and match deal and a 2 topping Howie deal large two topping pizza. Pizza came with no toppings, just cheese. (Delivery Driver was great btw but i didn't discover the mess up until after she was gone). I called to remedy the situation. The first guy that answered my call was a complete jerk (I would like to use other terminology...) At least the manager was civil. Basically, I was told I'm SOL because I already paid for it, and people commonly get deal pizzas with just cheese because they are cheaper. There was another deal for 9.99 that was $2 cheaper than that option. Don't insult my intelligence! They would put a Howie bread on my next order for the inconvenience or remake, and I would have to pick it up. I bet they wouldn't refund my delivery charge to do so. Like that is the same as a large pepperoni mushroom pizza delivered. I have been patient with these guys far longer than I would have been with any other establishment but I have a bias because I have worked for them (different location) in the past and loved the company and have spent a load of money on their mediocre pizzas.    Read moreI only get take out about once per month. This month it was Hungry Howies. We ordered pizza, calzone, cookies, cheesy bread sticks, and a 2ltr. I also picked up an order for my daughter for a gluten free pizza. We did pick up. The process was easy once familiar with their app. I went in and paid cash for one order and the other was already paid for online. Since there was a lot to carry out, the employee offered to help carry the stuff to my car. He was very helpful and didn't rush us. A far as the food: Daughter didn't get 'glutend'... so far... and she's ordered from there multiple times. đ For the other order, we were happy to see they had ham back on the menu. Everything was great, and customized perfectly. The only 'complaint' I have is really a personal preference.... the cookies đȘ were fully (overly) cooked and hard around the first inch and a half of border. All the ones in the past were soft and ooey-gooey yummmmđ. I did not complain to them because, like I said, my preference. Overall, a very positive experience. Definitely recommend for regular, specialty, and gluten...
