I've been coming here for years, since long before Kim sold the place (around 2011 or 2012, she stayed as a worker for a few months to train the new owners, then retired, I believe...). Back when she owned the restaurant, the place was perfect, but since then, customer service has gone down quite a bit. Shortly after Kim left, they changed the teriyaki recipe, the one reason why I adored the place so much, so I stopped going for a few months. By the time I came back in, they had returned to the original recipe. The customer service was still awful, but worth it for the food.
Later on, we ordered takeout, and the man who I believe now owns the place wrote down the wrong name, saying that he had no order under the correct name. Unsure of what to do, I went back home to discuss what had happened with my dad, as I'd forgotten to bring my phone with me (luckily it was only a 5 minute drive). He convinced me to go back and grab the order which was clearly ours, but under the wrong name, and when I got back, there was still no acceptance of fault (it wasn't even a close name, something like Kevin to Robby, though not those two names...). He let me take the order, despite it being clear that the name didn't match...
When that event happened, once again, I stopped going for a few months, and when I finally did return, he had hired a server to wait on the tables and take the orders. The server appears to change fairly frequently, but they are usually nice people, far better than the owner.
I definitely miss Kim, as her service was always wonderful. She remembered is very well from the beginning, and was always very pleasant to talk to. I wish she hadn't sold the place, but, over time, the restaurant appears to be returning to her...
Read moreI stopped going to Kim’s teriyaki a couple of years ago after witnessing the cook drop food on the kitchen floor pick it up,cook it then serve it in people’s orders. I witnessed this on two separate occasions. I finally decided against my better judgment to place a to go order as I was in a rush and they were right there in the same shopping center. I ordered teriyaki chicken and sesame chicken combo. To my dismay the chicken had no teriyaki sauce on it or at all in the order. The sesame chicken was dry and had very little sauce on it and had the interesting flavor of vinegar which is probably in the sauce but I’m pretty sure not the sauce. The rice was dry and stuck together like a brick not fresh, warm and fluffy. And to finish to top it all off it was an incredibly small amount. Can we say flush to $18. Sorry Kim’s completely lost my trust AGAIN, I will NEVER eat at Kim’s teriyaki again! YUCK!!! County health inspector should really...

First time and worst experience my go to place closes on Tuesday so I thought I give this place a try. For the tremendous price you only get TERIYAKI SAUCE!!! More like can I have some Salmon with my Teriyaki sauce. Not sure if they'll take this back, but sure as heck not going to even take a second bite out of the rubber salmon.
2 orders of Salmon and sesame chicken. First and foremost I didn't know that they put and drown the Salmon with this Teriyaki sauce and secondly the Salmon is very dry its crispy on the top and lastly the rice is saturated with the sauce that if I wanted to drink it I would order it that way. What an awful way to have salmon had I known I would've had the sauce on the side but most of all it is so dry as if they just warmed the salmon. I wouldn't recommend this place. They can have this back I couldn't even eat it even if I was hungry the sauce alone is all you...
