We dined in, ordered the vermicelli bowls, one with beef, one with pork, with a side of extra pork.. My son ordered the won ton soup.
The meat was flavorful, but the side order was sitting in a puddle of oil on the small plate. The oil permeated the noodles, which were warm and overcooked, too soft. Usually this dish has cool- cold noodles. There were not as much veggies as other places have. Sauce was ok.
The won ton soup was the worst we've ever had in our lives. Do not order this if you are expecting something like in a Chinese restaurant. First, the broth was dark brown. All the won tons were in a clump, all stuck together, and the minute piece of filling tasted off. The vegetables were soggy and way overcooked. The very thin slices of Char siu tasted old, almost rancid, and dry. There was one leaf of overcooked bok choy. Please do your customers a favor and take this off your menu.
The server just did the mechanics of the job. Seemed like no customer service training, not friendly, no smiles, lacking personality. Did not come back to ask how the food was, only to fill water glasses. When my son told him about the soup, he had no answer. Just brought the check and cashed out. No 'thank you' spoken.
The dining area was clean, just missing music of some sort.

Read moreA couple years ago the pho broth was pretty good. you know how ? if the broth jells when refrigerated then you know it's good. as said, a couple years ago the broth stopped jelling.
do you know what's really annoying ? the pho is so messy, even if you're eating with MUCH care the lack of collagen means micro droplets go everywhere.
micro droplets on your face. micro droplets on whatever surface the food is at. micro droplets on your shirt. there's more than that.
there are fees the restaurant have to pay if they want to be an option on delivery apps. I'm glad they're not because the food is so difficult to eat when you can feel all the droplets landing on your skin .
it's fair to assume that a person that smells like lunch is a messy eater, but it's so difficult right now I don't wish the experience on my...
Read moreI really enjoy their Pho. Super good broth, traditional and delicious! Portions are great, it is truly filling and satisfying.
Service is great, genuine, clearly they care about customer experience.
Room for improvement: the noodles in the Pho are a bit bland, not quite soft enough. However since the broth is so good, it overpowers the noodle miss. Move to noodles 2.0 and this is 5 star Pho.
The meet is good, lean, as it should be.
Takeout packaging is great - the Pho stayed hot for an hour!
Advice: don’t try to Pad Thai. It misses the mark and if that’s all I ordered, this would be a 2 star uplifted by the great service. If the Pad Thai can’t evolve, better to remove from menu IMO.
Conclusion: I love this place and will be back every time I am...
