The Brooklyn Pizzeria — Restaurant in Port Orchard

Overall Rating: 4/5 (8 of 10) I've driven past this little shop several times, and finally last night was craving some thin sliced pizza. I've been to NYC a few times now, this is a good option if you miss NY pizza. I ordered the Brooklyn Supreme, with added Artichokes, a Margerita, and a Caesar salad. We went to pick it up, sent my partner in to pick it up one of our pizzas were done already but the salad and Margerita wasn't done yet. We waited about 3 minutes and it was all good to go, we rushed home (excited to eat) we are roughly a 10 minute drive from this spot. Got into the house and I opened both boxes and the salad promptly. Unfortunately the Supreme didn't have the artichokes we paid an upcharge for, so that was disappointing but I wasn't about to drive back for them to fix it. So oh well on that. I really wanted to try the Margerita first, took a slice with some salad on the side. Pizza was still hot and fresh. VERY good. The balsamic glaze they put on it is very wonderful. Would definitely get that pizza again. Salad was good, just a plain Caesar no protein which was fine. Just wanted some greens. Now the Supreme, we were already bummed about the artichokes, but unfortunately I think this was done long before we arrived to the pizza spot. Was a bit lukewarm almost cold compared to the margerita even after the 10 min drive. The flavor was still excellent. We would go again, make sure to check for any added toppings before leaving the parking lot. Old review no longer applies. Place just closed down this entire week with no msg, nothing on site, just closed cause owner feels like it, but can't show ppl the courtesy of not wasting their time with a simple msg.

Furthermore this place falls apart when it gets busy, they don't cook the pizza fully (super doughy) don't spread toppings or cut pizza evenly, see photo. That's how they cut the pizza!

I've talked to them about this before and this is the third time now. I'm over it, you've lost a customer that used to order every week. Too expensive to have to beg for ppl to make a pizza properly.

It is my opinion that this is the best pizza around here. Don't get too excited though because considering the competition that's not saying much. The pricing is in line with other places nearby. I'm surprised Google is asking me to rate atmosphere since the place is literally a tiny cut out of a building with nowhere to sit. Service is eh, mediocre and if you're picking up your own food you shouldn't be expected tip. They also don't deliver so there's that. If you call close to close they will not take your order, and they have really ridiculous hours for a place that sells pizza which is up late night staple.

We've been eating @ brooklyn for a little over a year now. The last two orders were NoT it.

-Asked for extra garlic on online order - no extra garlic topping -asking for light cheese - they may as well of put extra if not their normal amount and this is based on their normal pizza that has a fair amount of cheese on it -substituted ranch dressing - Recieved cesar dressing - no ranch went to pick up and salad was not prepared or ncluded in the order, had to wait once they realized wings were not crispy, cold and chewy and had barely any wing sauce on them

I'm not normally picky- but dang like nothing was good or correct about this order. They've been consistent up until this point, we've recommended them to folks.

Last time our pizza order was pretty burnt, missing toppings and the cheese just slid off the pizza. We attributed to a one off.

Idk 🤷‍♀️ they used to be better. Don't know that we will be going back anytime soon. We've always tipped well with take away bc they've done a good job in the past. Not stoked. We understand this is a small joint run by highschool kiddos, so we have leeway here, but between closing before 8 on a Friday and just lack of quality it'll be a while before we consider giving this place...
