I may be a bit nitpicky when it comes to sandwiches. Personally I believe one could ruin a sandwich easily. I ordered four chicken subs, and one of them was a coupon my kiddo received from school. I showed the coupon to the first staff that started my order. Another staff took over after the subs were toasted. The kids sandwiches were simple-just add mayo or ranch. Can't get that wrong! One of the kiddos said they had too much "sauce", and I experienced a similar issue with the sandwich I had. I asked for a light-small amount of mayo and Dijon and the young lady squirted two huge lines of each, going back and forth twice. I paused because I could not believe the huge amount just gooped all over. Perhaps this is what she considered a "small amount". I asked her to please remove more than half of the glob of condiment on my sandwich. Her expression indicated she did not want to do it. She quickly removed-scraped some of the sauce off. Now at least she used a knife. I had a similar issue at a Subway a year ago and the employee used her finger to scrape it off. Yes, she did have a glove, but still gross right?! The Sandwiches are made and she begins to ring up the order. I provide the coupon and she stopped explaining the kid sandwich needs to be 4 inches. I had no idea what she was referring to at first because that is all of the info she initially provided. My response was was "ok", but never heard of the 4 inch sandwiches. She repeated the kids meal is 4 inches not 6 inches. Oh I see. So it appears a six inch is cut and to make the 4 inch another inches is removed from the other end. I suppose the 2 inch bread is tossed? If so it would be better and lean, cost effective, to leave the 2 inches on. Anyway, I told her to please follow up with the other staff that started the order since he reviewed the coupon and gave us the 6 inch. She said I can't ring it up this way. At this point 2 people were behind waiting to pay as well. I told her I will pay for the 2 inches or cut it off, so the line does not get backed up more than it already had, but she refused. She got the manager, and he stated similar information. He understood the other staff checked it first, so he began to ring up the order. For some reason the system must be strict regarding how the items are inputted. He struggled to get the correct amount to show up. At this point people are upset in line and I mention I am happy to pay the extra 2 inches. He decided he would ring it up in two orders. He was polite, but I ended up paying more than I was told I owed. I paid and left. My sandwich was mediocre because of the goopy condiments. Would I go back to this Subway? Probably not. The manager was polite through all of this, so that would be reason enough to give it another try. The staff could use more training on being a...
Read moreI was turned away this morning (around 4:15am) 7/25/25 even though this subway is 24 hours by the lady working graveyard at subway, she is the worst. The lady (Mary? Marcy?) that works at night is EXTREMELY passive aggressive. I am a regular and she grunts and complains out loud ANYTIME us customers walk in. Its rude! We get it, you want to get your “work done” but You do NOT need to direct that energy to the paying customer. this is extremely unprofessional, GET A DIFFERENT JOB! I AM SICK OF FF workers that are RUDE. . This is EVERY-TIME I come TO subway after 11pm. This lady makes it VERY evident that she hates every customer that walks in and bothers her! And now, this morning: she turned me AWAY even though they are a 24 hour establishment! Y’all are 24 hours! Stop Using Stupid excuses to turn us away. Why are you turning customers away? If you can not handle making sandwiches then why are you working at subway? I have been working on nights for 4-5 months and this is the only establishment that is open 24 hours and I go to this subway when I can’t pack a lunch with me. I didn’t get to eat on my lunch break because this lady turned me away!
I do want to mention that there are still a few good employee that work at this Subway and I do not want them to go without recognition. The ONLY reasons I keep coming back to this subway IS because it is 24 hours (please keep it like this) and for the new guy working named Dennis (bigger tall guy). He is a star - very respectful and professional, even when busy, he is patient and has a GREAT attitude! Dennis and the other guy (don’t know his name) both work on nights are they both are very attentive and it is much appreciated! They deserve a raise, bonus, promotion and...
Read moreI'm a delivery driver and have picked up orders from several Subway sites. This particular Subway has shown no respect for delivery drivers or the customers we are delivering to. Examples: They reuse the same knife to cut each sandwich. At other sites they use a clean knife for each sandwich. They do not change gloves between each sandwich they make causing cross contamination. The order I picked up yesterday was one 12 inch and two 6 inch subs with a salad included. All three sandwiches were crammed into one small bag and were being smashed together. I took each sandwich out and placed them into the bag so they wouldn't be ruined by the time I delivered them to the customer. The sandwiches were not sealed with a sticker as they should be. There were no napkins in the bag and no silverware for the salad. The salad was not in a bag. I have to ask for napkins and silverware every time I pick up an order at this site. I was told by one employee that they no longer give napkins for delivery orders.
With all of this being said I do understand that some delivery drivers can be quite rude which is wrong. We're not a top priority. We are in line just like their walk in customers. But, the site needs to realize that ultimately we are delivering THEIR food to THEIR customer and they should take a much care with delivery orders as they do with customers that walk into the site.
While I have zero control over how some drivers act we are not all the same. I actually care about the product I deliver and take great care to get it to the customer in a fresh and safe state. This site should take as much care with the product they send out as I do to deliver it to...
