I would give a 0 star if I could. This is a delayed review because I was trying to reach out to the owner to give then a chance to make this right. But after over a week with no reply, I'm done waiting.
I placed and order back on June 1st. When I 1st called to order, the young man told me about 45-60 min. I knew that was a little quick for 4:50 on a Saturday, which I was correct. They did not show up until 6:30. No big deal, I order from the port orchard location enough to know that it's going to take 90-120 min, even if I pick it up.
I usually pay with my card, today I had cash so I told him that I wanted to use cash. When the delivery driver got here, he said "they didn't tell me I needed change, I have $5 from my last tip". I gave him $100 for my $78 order and got $5, back. At this point, no big deal, I did not tell the guy when I was ordering that I needed change, however he did not ask either. I only wanted $10 back anyways so I was okay with not getting the additional $5.
Our order was 2 orders of cheese sticks, one large meats pizza and one large BBQ/Chicken/Bacon/Onion/Pineapple.
Once we sat down to start eating, I took about 3 bites of the BBQ chicken before realizing that there was MINIMAL BBQ sauce on this pizza. I thought maybe it was just that one slice, I know that when spreading the sauce when you are busy, some parts of the pizza get more than others. I asked my kids and husband about theirs and it was the same issue. So, I called down to the store to see about it being remade, the guy put me on hold for a couple minuets and when he came back, he said if I wanted to bring the pizza down, they would look at it. I told him that I really did not want to bring it down, but I also didn't want to spend $95 on 1 pizza and some cheese sticks.
When I got down to the store, I showed the guy the pizza and he pointed to where the crust statted of the piece that I had peeled all the cheese off and said "See, look, BBQ sauce" I told him that I was not disputing that there was NO BBQ, just that there was barley any. He told me the BBQ had soaked into the dough.. what?! it most definitely did not.
He told me that is how they always make it. I told him this is a regular pizza I order and it has never been like this. (I order an average of twice a month). He walked away and spoke with someone (I did not see who) for about about 30 seconds and came back and again told me the sauce was there. He grabbed a pizza server and started scraping back the cheese on another piece. At this point, the pizza had cooled down and the cheese was STUCK to the dough. He could not even scrape it off because there was no BBQ allowing it to "slip/slide".
I told him that I have now paid $95 because I had to give the driver an extra tip because they don't carry change, have driven down to the store after paying for delivery and don't have a BBQ pizza and asked if they were going to remake it (I NEVER asked for a refund, I just wanted the pizza remade). He told me no. I asked him if he was the manager his response was "well close enough and he is just going to tell you the same thing."
At this point I was SO IRRATE I just told him to keep the pizza and walked out. This is completely unacceptable for any company. I worked in the restaurant industry in many different capacities (including Belfair and Chico Seabeck pizza) from the age of 14 until my mid 20's. I am not new to the industry or this company (both as an employee and a customer).
I have emailed both the emails on the website as well called and left messages at more than one location for someone to call me back with no reply at all.
HORRIBLE company that will no longer get any...

There's a lot going wrong in this shop for some odd reason. Decided to eat in and what a mistake that was. I knew I should have walked out as soon as I walked in. Here's how I knew: I never ate there before so I didn't what the process was for eat in, that is, do you order first and then sit or does someone seat you? Do you seat yourself? Who knows. Nothing saying what to do. The shop was staffed by only two employees.
Two employees running the shop on a busy Saturday? Message to the owner: Human Resources 101, adequately staff your restaurant. If you can't afford to have a third or fourth person working in the shop on a weekend then I hope you have a really legitimate excuse as to why. I seriously hope it isn't just you trying to save a dollar or two on not having to pay someone. Here's the consequence to that failure: I won't ever return again and I will never recommend Seabeck Pizza to anyone.
50 minutes for 5 slices of pizza split between two people is absolutely outrageous. I was probably better off going to the grocery store, buying a Digiorno pizza and cooking the whole thing at home in the time it took for them to make 5 slices of pizza.
By the way, since when does take-out have higher priority over customers who elect to eat in? Common sense in this situation is that when a customer chooses to eat-in over takeout they want to enjoy the experience and service; you should take that as a compliment and thank them by giving impeccable service instead of insulting the customer and making them grow old waiting for their food.
Someone below mentioned in their review about quality control. I concur, we did order the pizza bread which took 20 minutes. Just around the 40 minute mark, a staffer came back over to us with another pizza bread and then sighed in frustration because she saw we already received the order. How you lose track of what customers order I really have no idea.
Another suggestion to the owner: Consider some major process improvements in your shop. A lot of waste going on in there and you should be rather embarrassed. You can make your shop look very pretty inside and out but how it performs is the most important factor.
Another fun fact for the day: my neighbors laughed when I told them how long I waited and apparently this statement is common to the locals here: "don't go to Seabeck Pizza if you're hungry, you'll be waiting forever". Had I known that before, I wouldn't...
Read moreBeware of this place and its staff. My Fiance and I stopped in on Memorial Day. We had time sensitive plans later in the day. There was only one person in front of us to order their food, so we thought this would be a good place to grab a quick pizza to take with us. After sitting for 20 minutes, we were told it would be 10 more minutes before we'd be able to leave with our pizza.
We asked for a refund as we had somewhere to be and time was running out. The grey-haired woman working got very petty and aggressive at our request. Her words were "You DO KNOW that all of our pizzas take 30 minutes right? I think this is so rude, would you appreciate it if someone did this to you"? She then told us that we would not be able to order there anymore because of our refund. She continued rambling about no one wanting the pizza we ordered because it had anchovies on it. We weren't wanting to get wrapped up in her emotional outburst, so we nodded along. She, repeatedly, stated that this was so rude of us and that she would never do this to a restaurant.
By the time our refund was processed, she again said "I would never do this to a restaurant" and this woman threw our refund receipt in my Fiance's face. I said again that we have some place we have to be and we didn't expect a pizza place with no wait to take this long. We were so apologetic throughout this exchange and she only got more and more aggressive. I had mentioned that she has no reason to be so aggressive to which she couldn't respond.
This treatment was abhorrent given the circumstances. It is one pizza. We had to leave. As someone who works in business I can't imagine their margins would hurt that much from losing one small-sized pizza.
So, if you want to go here, budget the time for it. There was no line when we went in, so it will probably take longer for you if...
