My Brothers Bbq — Restaurant in Port Saint Lucie

I cannot stop thinking about this place! My husband and I happened upon it a couple days ago. The owners were amazing! I believe James and Sabrina? But beyond that their staff was amazing! Wish I would have caught their names… I will next time! The place was cute and clean. The food was absolutely amazing! I could not stop raving about it while eating it! We ate literally everything on our plate (impressed the owners - they underestimated us) and we walked out feeling like we needed a hospital because we were so full! Lol! Husband had the ribs and the chicken quarter with green beans, mac & cheese and cornbread. I had the brisket and pulled chicken with green beans, corn nuggets, and cornbread. All were absolutely a spiritual experience - LOL. I normally eat really fast, but I slowed down to savor each and every morsel! The owners were so excited by our enthusiasm as we were eating, making moans and groans of delicious pleasure that they ended up giving us a small sample of their baked beans and their pork (which were also completely amazing) to ensure we were zealots/believers! Their regular sauce, and then their Carolina sauce were really flavorful! The smoke flavor in the meat was amazing. I have never had green beans that tasted like that! Delicious! And the baked beans were magical! It was like my taste buds were confused…sweet & meat flavors balanced wonderfully! I love it! And the mac & cheese was to die for! I’ve never had such a delicious mac & cheese in all of my life! The cornbread also was a big favorite for my husband and I. There is nothing we didn’t like! We will definitely be back (as our waistlines & cholesterol levels permit)! Lol! THE FOOD: Myself, my wife and stepson visited "My Brothers BBQ" this past Tuesday evening after seeing the eatery featured on the Food Network show "Best Bite In Town" the previous week. All i can say is Wow! they did not disappoint in any aspect. I started with the fried shrimp appetizer that was such a great deviation from the usual small shrimp with not much pop of flavor. My brothers BBQ Fried shrimp are large and have a burst of flavor that I relished every bite. For my main course, I had the 3 meat sampler, i chose Brisket, Pulled Pork, and Pulled Chicken with two sides of their Mac n Cheese. The Brisket was seasoned amazing and the cook was perfect, the Pulled Pork was so tasty i didn't even want to use BBQ sauce, The pulled Chicken was good but not in the same arena as the other two. The Mac n Cheese was probably the BEST i have ever had since my grandmothers 20 years ago with a matt of cheese over the top, truly sensational! My wife got the Ribs and pulled pork, the meat on the ribs just slid off the bone it was so tender and also cooked and seasoned to perfection. The SERVICE: We had a young lady as our server and she couldn't have been any more sweet and authentic about making sure we enjoyed our visit. Another staff member came out to see how we were enjoying our food. SUMMATION: There is a real sense of pride in "My Brothers BBQ" that is clearly in the food and a genuine concern and enjoyment in seeing you enjoy your dining experience. This place is fantastic! I was introduced to this little jumping barbeque spot by my brother. Together, we consider ourselves BBQ critics and conisseurs of the finest meats, both smoked and flame cooked. The only reason I gave 4 stars for My Brother's BBQ under Atmosphere is because the dining area is too small, and they desperately need and deserve a larger dining area to be able to serve more customers. They could actually use a drive thru window. The food is actually that good! So far, I've had the Rib Dinner and the Smoked Oxtails, and as you can see from the pictures and video of the Oxtails, they taste every bit as mouth watering delicious as the look. Plates are on the pricey side, so be prepared to pay for the quality of meats you see under my review. Don't worry, this is not your average, throw some cheap meat on the BBQ grill, and call it gourmet cuisine! No, this is get ready to enjoy flavors like you've never encountered, mixed with that warm feeling you get from eating comfort food.
