I had been wanting to try Pho Deli for a while. Finally made the trip last sunday. My girlfriend and I were greeted by Jay. Extremely nice young man. Pleasant and affable. We were not sure where to start. He gave us a few recommendations and as we do when we try somewhere new we ordered alot of different things to try. We started with the eggrolls and calamari. Both were excellent. the calamari was crunchy and well seasoned and paired with the housemade fish sauce was excellent. The egg rolls were crunchy and savory. Wanting to try a bit of everything we ordered 4 meals. The Beef shank soup with vermicelli and beef broth was great. And jay recommended the Banh Mi ( a baguette served with fresh pickled carrots, cilantro and cucumber with a choice of grilled beef, pork or chicken.) to dip in the soup. We tried the pork and it was soooo good. dipping it in the soup made it even better with the savory spices of the soup and the crisp flavors of the sandwich virtually melted in the mouth. For our main dishes we tried the Shaking beef and the porkchops, both served with jasmine rice. The porkchops were super tasty and whatever flavor they were marinated in was a sweet and savory taste and with the yummy rice was a delight. The overall winner (Though only slightly as all was excellent) was the shaking beef. The meat was so tender and juicy, and paired with the sauce was a sweet and savory explosion as it melted in your mouth. Today is wednesday and we decided to go back for lunch. Could not resist ordering the Calamari and Shaking beef yet again as well as the Banh Mi. For soup this time we had the Pho Tom ( Jumbo shrimp with chicken broth and vermicelli. paired with the sandwich it was a lighter tasting though equally full of flavor soup. We also tried the house special fried rice which was excellent and the Crepes with shrimp. Again everything was excellent and full of flavor. You could taste the freshness of the ingredients and every bite was a delight. Paired with Jays friendliness and funny jokes both experiences were excellent and we look forward to our next visit. There are still many meals to try I told Jay and we will be back soon. Definitely a recommendation. If you have never tried Vietnamese food this is the place to change that. Read moreWe come from California. We moved here almost 2 years ago and are having such difficult time finding places with authentic flavors. We have been on the hunt for a good pho soup and this was our third spot to try after several disappointments in PSL and Jensen Beach.
We also have a lot of Vietnamese friends back home and the true test to a good pho soup is the broth! I'm excited to report that this broth is veryyyy close to back home the only thing that's different is their garnishes are VERY lacking. Their sauces are also very lacking, but their broth is right on pretty close to California.
My hubby ordered the pho deli special which comes with the brisket and the medium rare sirloin thin sliced plus meatballs? We have to say we did not like the meatballs. Everything else was good and it was a hearty portion of beef in the soup ... $16.95 big enough for two to three to share with perhaps another dish and side?
I ordered the bunh vermicelli with grilled pork. I always ask them skip the noodles and load up the veggies which shocked the waitress. I was a tad disappointed that it didn't come with the spring roll like back home The waitress mentioned that it used to come with a spring roll, but they canceled that?. I was not ecstatic with the side sauce for my dish, but made it work adding siracha and the fish sauce. Overall we werevery impressed with the grilled pork and the portion of beef in the pho.
We are pretty happy but we're not gonna say it's amazing because it's not but the closest we've had since we've been here. The broth is how we test it (before adding condiments). I will show you side-by-side, the comparison of the garnish and how much they differ from back home. We will be coming back. I would like to try their banh mi sandwich and hubby perhaps a different pho or plate.

Read moreA little hole in the wall restaurant. Fresh, nice portions for the price. I did get extra meat for my vermicelli grilled pork bowl. The beef phó broth is very light and refreshing. It doesn't feel heavy at all, not to mention, this has been boiled down and cooked all day from scratch. The Thai tea is nice. I think it's made with Regular milk and sugar rather than the condensed/evaporated milk at other places that I get them at. Sweet, not bitter tho, a little stronger after taste, but doesn't deter my love of them. I'm glad this place here. I no longer have to go down to West Palm Beach (but I probably will stop by if in the area). If you are wanting to try Vietnamese food, this is the place. :-)
(Update): I forgot to mention they have a nice small menu along with a kids section (Added a menu pic). The strawberry smoothie I got, wasn't my favorite. Not sure if it's because it came out after my best friend's Taro smoothie (the taste was off). I enjoyed the Summer Rolls (the one with rice wrapper, not fried) however, I felt that it was missing the mint and cilantro that I'm used to eating at other Viet Restaurants. (Maybe a personal preference?) Either way, my friends and come here whenever we get a chance. They no longer have the silverware on the little condiment's table. It is now wrapped up in napkin (so that's a plus). Again, I would come here every chance I get. It's quick and they deliver (3 mile radius) how much more could you ask? We enjoy the food very much and I hope when you check it out...
