Waitress instantly acknowledged us and took our order, spicy scramble no cheese and soup with half sandwich. Thirty minutes later she delivered veggie with havarti omlet. We indicated this is not what we ordered. She removed both plates and returned 10 mins later with same soup sandwich plate and correct spicy scramble. Note she did not return during the 10 min wait to prepare the correct plate to let us know what was happening. During the initial 30 min wait a different waitress fill one of our drink glasses. After we had completly finished eating our original waitress asked if we needed any refills. I indicated yes however he indicated no since he had finished his entire meal without any beverage. The food was tasty. The service completly lacking. When the bill was brought, instead of our wiatress bringing it, she sent it with another waitress. At no point did she attempt to apologise or acknowledge the lack of attention and care during our visit. Overall, tasty food. Somewhat over priced but considering the lack of other choices average pricing. At least one completly lacking and...

Now called the Crab which was really originally A & W drive-in and the only fast food restaurant in PT. That's right I am actually a local because only a real local would know that. Not a pretend, just moved here from California local, but someone who has seen this once self sustaining working class town turn into the mess that is is now.

Anyway, The Crab......excellent service by the wait staff which is why I gave it four stars - friendly, genuine and always came back to check on water and coffee. Thank you for the pleasant experience.

The food well its solid, tasty and like my good buddy says "Its Not Greasy". Eggs benedict was good but not spectacular but then again that's not what I expected. I expected good solid food which means I will return again and make this my new breakfast local...

When I checked online it said that this place had a 4.3 star rating, but I'm thinking that's for the locals, I'm from Houston Texas so when I see a 4.3 star rating I'm thinking of a very nice restaurant oh, this restaurant was nice for what it was but it's just a little place pretty quaint, the food was decent friend of mine have the Dungeness crab eggs benedict, and the crab look like it was out of a can however they assured us that it was fresh , the wait staff was nice and they did a good job, it did take a little while to get our food but all in all it was a pretty good experience in a nice little place, well we would have never picked if we were in Houston because it was so small, I have to say if I were to return I would go by and have breakfast again it beat a lot of other places...

The food is fantastic! They have guitarist that sits in the corner an plays. The place is cold, presumably to entice you to their warm foods... I'm a big guy who never gets cold, and I ordered a hot chocolate there. No view of the water, or anything, even though it's part way up a hill. Hard wooden seats, tile floors, cramped tables and low metal ceiling all make for a very loud little room... we are in our early 40's and were the youngest people there by at least 2 decades, then again it is super bowl Sunday at 2pm and we arent doing super bowl this year... THE FOOD IS FANTASTIC.

If you say 'Yes' when someone asks you if you are hungry for breakfast, and you find yourself anywhere near Port Townsend, you have to go to The Cup. All day long you can get breakfast, but their location up the hill, is perfect to stop and eat. Check the specials to the right on the board when you walk in, the bacon, avocado Benedict with home fries is spot on. French toast? Yup, quite good, perfectly cooked. The coffee (they have yes for others) is perfect and deliciously not pretentious. Make sure to stop in, you won't regret it (and might need a nap afterwards)!

When we met up with friends for lunch we specified "a place that is not too noisy so we can carry on a conversation". They suggested The Cup and it was perfect. The food was very good, the server was fun and competent and we could all hear each other. We all ended up with breakfast instead of lunch, which worked our for all of us. Their special caught my wife and I, their Pane d'amore French Toast with two eggs and meat. We enjoyed it and will be back.
