What a joke of a port. Wouldn't allow me to gain moorage at the facility because the boat I was trying to moore was bought through an auction. They claimed its because of the condition of the boat, which is in much better condition than 60% of the boats they have moored their currently. I can walk down this dock and point out atleast 6 boats that are not seaworthy and have extensive damage but they justify them being there by saying they are "grandfathered in". Then they tried to say "well if you pay the down payment/ security deposit then we can talk" so I said "OK how much is that" he then said "no you're gonna have to do a haul out and do work on your boat and get it inspected then we can talk" dude was super hostile. They obviously had other reasons for not wanting me there because they kept changing their requirements. Always keeping it classy Port townsend, this town will always be a s hole. Will post more photos of all the derilict vessels they have moored later this week.

Definitely perfect for boat owners who need a beautiful place to stay over night or to get some repairs done. This place is your one stop shop. There's bathrooms with showering facilities. They have a place to get some laundry done & many places to shop around for goodies or anything you might need. There's also a Safeway close by if ur in need of groceries or a Safeway express to fill up on gas. Port Townsend Boat Haven is great.

Very lovely, interesting little port village with a downtown of Victorian buildings - little shops, eateries, ice cream and chocolate shops etc. Watch the big ferry come into dock, grab a coffee near the outdoor patio on the water, soak up sun when it's out, and linger in this cute town. Only there one day, and want to return for much more.

Booked a slip over Memorial Day Weekend. We are a large vessel (70 loa) and we were next to another large, beam-y vessel. No problem. They have nice 70 foot finger slips just to starboard as you pull in. Plenty of power and water. Friendly folks up in the office.

Added bonus was the delightful dinner we had at Docks Marina Grill which was literally just a few steps from our boat. The last time I had eaten in Port Townsend (not at Docks, but another restaurant) it did not go well. So I was hopeful Docks would be a better experience, but perhaps a bit wary. My worry time was wasted as Docks was outstanding. We were in early and seated immediately, but Reservations are indicated as they filled up fast. I got a really interesting Tuna Tartar Salad with lots of fresh greens and a healthy portion of some yummy tuna steak lightly grilled. The others in our party had a variety of dishes and nobody was disappointed. My dessert was carrot cake and it was a very generous portion and sinfully delicious . In all, a very nice dinner.

Our schedule did not allow us to poke around Port Townsend this trip but we will be back. That's just a cool little spot in there and with the addition of a good restaurant -...

On Monday, May 10, 2021 we were boating to Port Townsend. We tried several times that day to call Point Hudson Marina with no one answering the phone. We tried several times to contact the marina on VHF Cannel 9, but no response. We heard several other boaters also trying to contact that marina with no answer. We decided to boat into the marina to see if there was a slip available. Slips 4 and 5 signs said both vacant and reserved on each slip. One sign said reserved the other said vacant. We tied up in one of those slips. My husband went to check in at the office. One person was ahead of him. It took a long time to finally question whether or not the slip was available. First we were told it was reserved. Then, told to go ahead and take the slip. That night no other empty slips were taken. We think the service was very slow and poor for boaters at that marina. And, boaters have to wonder why they can’t get in contact ahead of their arrival. Marina was not busy and appeared to be less than half full. I would have given one star except the location was ideal for...
