Let me just say…this is my new favorite spot! I walked in today with my sister to finally try Cafe Main Street and I was hooked from the moment I walked in. You’re greeted with a smile and a warm hello. The atmosphere is what you’d expect from a downtown cafe. Super cute decor and great color scheme. Now for the best part, the FOOD! I ordered the Elote avocado toast, and it was delicious!! Presentation was eye capturing and the taste was great! The only thing I would change is the feta cheese to cojita cheese (give the full authentic experience) other than that loved it! My sister ordered the Toffee nut iced latte! Delicious, the nuts on top were a perfect touch!
I am so glad you are part of Porterville and I’ll definitely be coming back for more!
Did I mention how cost friendly this place is as well? I’m a college student so to be able to afford great quality food and drinks for under $15 dollars is huge!
Another great factor about this place is that it’s Veteran and family owned! Even more reason to support!
Please check and support this business. It’s worth it,...
Read moreCafe Main Street 254 has become a new favorite! We stopped by for breakfast and were blown away by both the food and the atmosphere.
We started with the breakfast croissant, which was perfectly flaky, with just the right balance of fillings that made every bite delicious. Paired with the nutter butter coffee blend, which was rich and creamy, it was a unique and indulgent way to kick off the morning.
Next, we tried the stuffed biscuits and gravy, which did not disappoint! The biscuits were tender and packed with flavor, and the gravy was savory with a perfect, hearty texture. It was comfort food at its finest! This was complemented nicely by a breakfast tea, which was fresh and soothing.
The ambiance is cozy, and the staff was warm and welcoming, making the experience all the more enjoyable. If you’re in Porterville, Cafe Main Street 254 is a must-visit for breakfast. We'll definitely be back to try more...
Read moreOn our way to the Sequoia National Park, we came across the Main Street Cafe. We are glad that we stopped by for breakfast. Today is our second visit and we are the same baked omelet but in addition, we ordered a egg abcs sausage breakfast biscuit. THIS THING IS ENORMOUS!! It is very fluffy and surprisingly moist and generously smothered with deliciously prepared gravy. I am not a biscuit eater because everywhere we went, I get a dry biscuit…but this biscuit is unique!! I have never tried one as god as this. Shaun and Paul are the owners and you can tell that they planned, and carefully prepared each of the food that they serve. They are very friendly and their customers are very pleased. I laughed because one of the customers hummed the yummy kind of hum as some as his food was served. AWESOME PLACE!! Highly...
