My experience with San Joaquin Valley College was very wonderful. I know that I did the classes to the best of my abilities with help from the instructors (both ground and online). The staff on the campus are very supportive, even the maintenance members were polite and motivating. This campus offers so much hands on training. I was in the Business Administration program and it was not the typical boring classes. Coming to the campus, I was very shy, but the class has broke me out of the shell to be ready to go out into the working world to be confident and knowledgeable. San Joaquin Valley College inspired me with their motivation and support to help new students at orientation and in class so they do not feel nervous or alone. SJVC also prepared me on how to be professional. The classes were challenging because it was at a fast pace, but the picture in my mind of graduating and being proud of myself, kept me motivated to keep on going. I began classes November 2019 and I really enjoyed going to classes everyday the staff was very caring and was always ready to praise you for your accomplishments it was such a good environment to learn in but that changed halfway through when COVID 19 resulted in everything becoming distance learning , But Mr.D made it very easy to set up meetings and keep up to date on everything, he was very flexible and understanding of the new circumstances. If I ever had any questions it was very easy for me to get a hold of any of the faculty , so COVID did not effect any of my learning . I’m very thankful for the SJVC staff #SJVCPORTERVILLE...

My experience here at San Joaquin Valley College was amazing I had a wonderful time, met amazing staff, met wonderful instructors and learned new things. As a Business student it was nerve wreaking at first, but I got around put myself out there and connected well with others. This school may be small, but definitely worth going because your putting your all.
