EDIT: changing this review to one star, to reflect that this location is trash and we will never, ever go back here again. first off, they've now closed down one side of the drive thru and are refusing walk-ups. the last three times we went, the drive thru was backed up across the parking lot into the street...making it nearly impossible to even get into the lot. as a result, you can't exit any other direction except directly onto division going east. ridiculous. the last straw though was sitting in this massive line for a HALF HOUR only to get up to the covered area of the building, and there are two bums standing in the narrow space between the wall and the driver's side of your car. they absolutely REEKED like feces and BO. had to put up the window it was so bad. they were harassing everyone in the drive thru for money and getting belligerent when refused. THEN they stepped right in front of the vehicle in front of us and proceeded to cut in front of about 7 vehicles. they spent 10 minutes going back and forth with the employee before finally ordering something. after they finally moved, and we were able to get to the window, i asked the kid what that was all about and he just shrugged his shoulders and laughed. excuse me?? we simply left. we now go to dutch bros. will never spend a dime at a black rock again.
love their coffee and snacks, good prices, customer service is usually great. their cold brew is always fantastic. deducted one star just because the drive thru is always so slow and backed up. doesn't stop me from coming...
Read moreIâve been coming to this black rock location for many years. I love the staff, The Atmosphere and the ambiance. When I came in today I was greeted by one of the usual staff members who proceeded to tell me about the âNewâ rewards program thatâs going to be implemented this week. Rewards program will now change (once again) from the awesome and affordable buy 10 drinks get the 11th free point system to the New and non affordable and favorable for the customers âReward Programâ if you can call it that. You will now accrue 2 points per drink or food purchase. At 120 points you get a free medium drink and at a whopping 215 points you get a free any size drink. If you have any points saved up under the current reward program they will be expunged and not honored under the new system.
Now letâs do some simple math. If the average drink costs $5.60 it will cost you a whopping $336 to get the points for a âfreeâ medium drink
For the free any size drink you will need 215 points. If we are going by the average drink cost of $5.60 it will cost you, The consumer $599.20 to obtain your âfreeâ large size drink.
It seems like another greedy corporation strikes again to take advantage of its customer base while lining their pockets and offering us a ârewardâ program that is very one sided.
Iâll be looking at finding a new coffee shop to spend my money at. This isnât a reflection on the crew or the store itself. This is how I feel about the corporation in a nut shell. Do what you will with this...
Read moreWOW. This is the hard stuff. I was having a seriously rough day, decided to get hectic and pull the trigger on a couple of their charged offerings. Orange Dream - HOLY GUACAMOLE. "THIS IS THE HARD STUFF." Ever seen the documentary 'RIZE'? This drink will make you get krump. From an episode of "Billions": "This isn't the Limitless S----, it's the Scarface Sh----." Okay, so a few people died from the Panera version of these drinks. But the creamy orange foam at the end - WOW. This is like being a stowaway on a pirate ship and finding caffeinated BOOTY belowdecks. AND HOW! Use with caution. If you need a serious Ctrl + Alt + Delete on your mindset, this is what Dr. Spock would prescribe using his caffeine fingers, or what you'd be drinking if you went in the studio with Stefan from Death Grips. This is like the ancient Vajrayana tantric statues they keep locked away from the monks in Tibet because they're too stimulating for the orthodoxy. For sure these drinks are Sith Alchemy, not for beginners, possibly should be illegal, but since they aren't (yet) try that cream cream. Have an...
