We were visiting in the area and heard about the food cart pod! Made our way over, and the first thing I saw was FreshFish Poke. I got the build your bowl, which was $15 for a regular, and it was pretty big! I got the white rice, ahi tuna, red onion, green onion, crab salad, crispy garlic, and crispy onion (if you can't tell, I love onions lol). It tasted very fresh and was really good! I debated between the house poke sauce and the classic hawaiian. The guy let me try the house sauce because he said it was a little spicy, and since we were from out of town, I decided to do as the Romans do and got the house sauce. It was good and not really that spicy! It had a flavor that reminded me of something, but I couldn't quite place it. Service was very friendly, and he was very patient while I decided between the sauces. Lots of food for a good price, I definitely recommend!

You choose or build your own poke bowl is the best. Options are available clearly on this food trailer signs. Very friendly staff and though I choose them I really like the way they mix my food, its the best ahi poke I ever tried. I am a tourist but I went back twice to the same place and willing to go third before I left Portland. Thanks to the authentic Japanese staff and more power to you guys.

The guy who took my order was polite and the food was super yummy, also the portion size was great for the price compared to the couple other poke spots I've visited recently. There's covered outdoor seating in the food cart park and neighborhood parking. :) (You can't see the fish in the picture, but I ordered the salmon and there was lots of it hiding underneath the toppings!!)

If there was a phone number listed, I would have called instead of writing this. If you get back to me and take care of this, I’ll happily edit my review. We are longtime customers, and get bowls from here often. It’s usually great! Unfortunately today, my daughter ordered her usual salmon bowl, and had to spit out multiple chunks of fish that tasted rotten / fishy! Now she doesn’t feel well. I am very nervous about this, and ordering raw fish requires major trust in an establishment. We love sushi and poke, but bad / fishy salmon is a very big NO. I really hope she doesn’t get...

This was my first time eating from here and I'll definitely be back again! Some of the best poke I've ever had. The salmon tasted fresh and the toppings were generous. What stood out the most to me was the seasoning and rice. At many other places, the rice would be bland and the only flavor came from the sauce, so there wasn't much or very inconsistent flavor... but at FreshFish Poke, their vinegar rice tied everything together beautifully with the poke sauce. Every single bite was perfectly...
