Gyro Kingdom — Restaurant in Portland

The food is all so good! I got the triple meat plate and while all meat was good lamb was my favorite. My husband got the lamb gyro and it was so big he couldn't pick it up to eat lol. I gave him my pita bread so it would be easier for him to eat so he could dish up the goodies from the other and put it in the 1 i gave him. With that 1 you gotta eat out some of the filling with a fork first. Only complaint is the food is a bit too slightly especially the rice and why I'm knocking off a star. Between the rice and the meat together was a little overwhelming for me personally. With sauce it's a little less noticeable but still kind of overpowering. Definitely going back for more of...

I ordered door dash and this is my review below for what I got. I can't speak of the restaurant itself, but I will say they made my travel then work then hotel life better.

The best Gyro I have had in years! Considering I travel often and have 1 per trip it's saying a lot. Honestly, I asked for extra lamb thinking there wouldn't be enough and didn't need it. I asked for extra Tzatziki and didn't need it, but I enjoyed both again today! I ordered a side of Hummus and again the best I've had in years..... My only complaint is that I didn't order more pita. Take my advice if you get a side of Hummus get at least 2...

I recently dined at Gyro Kingdom and decided to try the beef plate. Unfortunately, my experience was less than satisfactory. The menu photo depicted beef slices, but what I received was ground beef. The difference was quite disappointing.

Moreover, the ground beef seemed heavily marinated, resulting in an overwhelming greasiness. By the time I reached the bottom of my rice, there was a noticeable pool of grease, which made the dish unappetizing.

I hope Gyro Kingdom can improve the consistency and presentation of their dishes in the future.
